So what do you think about the K375s? Btw: There are no capslock and numlock light indicators on the keyboard. Instead, you get an on-screen indicator when you install Logi Options.
Logitech Options is a great program for any Logitech user. I am looking at this keyboard to replace my old Dell keyboard I found on the side of the road. I am looking at this keyboard, as I now have a Mac and I use both Windows 10 and MacOS and I want a keyboard that dose both.
I really like this keyboard, the multi-device feature is excellent, the pairing is really simple, even without Logitech software. The one major complaint I have is the typing experience, that is subjectively very bad compared to other Logitech membrane keyboards (I was using multiple K270s before this which in my opinion have way better keys and typing is way smoother). The keys need to be pressed exactly in the middle, if you happen to press them a little bit off-center, on the side or in the corners, they just don't work, they don't travel, you can't even press them down. The "A" key on mine seems particulary bad. I've been using this daily for about a month, and I'm still making a lot of mistakes when trying to type fast. I wonder if anybody else is having the same problem, and if I could do something about it... One other thing, the small Enter key is well... small... I noticed I'm hitting other keys by mistake, especially the backslash key that is right next to it.
Can confirm, I own this keyboard and while it is feature loaded, logitech has compromised on the most important thing which is the typing experience itself.
Awesome quality review, love it! Trying to decide between this keyboard and the MX Keys... I often have to switch between my work PC and my gaming PC which I use mainly for MS Flight Sim... I need full length keyboard and I already have the M705 mouse which can switch between the 2 computers flawlessly (USB dongle & bluetooth). I think I'll go with this keyboard because it is cheaper and it has the cellphone stand!!
Hi, I have the keyboard for more than 2 year. It cheaply built but, thare are many pros which I like very much. Battery life. Excellent. It is cheap to buy new 2x AAA batteries. I paired it to an Android smartphone, Raspberry Pi and the Unifying gongle to other devices such as Android SmartTV.. The devices cheange is fast. The Fn + ESC, to toggle between F keys and multimedia keys is very convenient. For the price, it is a very good keyboard. Thank you.
awesome and detailed review. like the sound of the keys, almost like a laptop. The price of the product is important, I'm still learning how to programming and only have a laptop, but using the laptop's keyboard will prevent me from raising the laptop to the eye level (don't want to buy a monitor yet). This product will be helpful to connect to my iPad and phone at the same time.
that's awesome! programming is fun (I have a CS background). Raising laptop height is definitely a game-changer. Less strain on the back and neck. And you'll appreciate the free phone/tablet stand!
Yay! Such a comprehensive review. Quick question though, is there a physical right click short cut button from this keyboard? I've used K380 before, until it got worn out. I then switched to Xiaomi MIIIW keyboard -- and when I often go for full keyboards (104 keys), I always want to have that right click key. I know it's weird but hoping you can let me know as I'm considering this keyboard. Thanks!

is their a more rigid one ? I still use my old school ps2 keyboards because I use them on my lap all the USB ones seems to be cheap flimsy things especially wireless ones but untangling the keyboard every weeks getting tiresome
Is downloading the software necessary to make the function of switching between devices work? I have a company laptop I'd like to use this keyboard with but I am not allowed to install anything on it. Thanks in advance and great review!

you can use any logitech multi-device mouse. for example, I use this sometimes with the M720 or M330. but note that switching connection is independent. so pressing F1 on the keyboard doesn't mean the mouse will also switch to Device 1. Each device (mouse/keyboard) will have to be switched. but it's not hassle because switching is as easy as pressing the quick switch buttons.
I haven't used the K580 but looking at it now, I like how it has a compact form factor while still having complete keys (numpad and functions), and that the phone stand is built-in unlike in K375s where it comes separate. I think one advantage of K375s is that it has 3 easy switch keys (F1 F2 F3) instead of only 2 (F11 F12) on the K580
Thank you for the review. I would buy the MX Keys, that is better but it has shit integrated lithium battery. If you are unlucky lithium batteries are unstable and can burn themselves. You have to recharge them more frequently (not one a year) and when battery life is end after 6-7-8-10 years you can throw in the trash your loved Logitech MX Keys. So the Logitech K375s is worse but better then the MX Keys, and the only choice if you want a big full multi-device keyboard. In my case it’s not a question of money.
great point on the battery. i haven't owned a mouse/keyb with a non-replaceable lithium battery, but I definitely appreciate the replacement convenience and battery life of the AA batteries on my M720 mouse that I have been using for the past 6 years (and counting)
Hi. Can i set-up K375s without using the usb receiver? I want to just use the bluetooth connections to one macbook and one acer laptop. I DO NOT want to use the usb receiver. thanks
Does this keyboard have Right Click key option.... As i didn't see the right Click key between the space bar and control cmd key below Enter key. Also... Are there indicator lights for Caps / Num lock??
i think most keyboards nowadays don't have a dedicated click key anymore. most OSes have a corresponding shortcut for that though, like shift + F10 for windows unfortunately there are no indicator lights for caps/numlock. as an alternative, you get an on-screen indicator when you install logi options
hmm im not sure. sometimes their products have slight differences on minor version change or market region. i remember the m3xx mouse series had different patterns at some point haha
Yup I tried this setup at one point. Just set the receivers to one of the three quick switch keys (F1, F2, F3). Use the Logitech Unifying Software to set it, it'll guide you on the process

Here is my plan: - Buy K375s (comes with one receiver) - Buy M590 (comes with another receiver) - Plug the receivers into my Mac Mini & MacBook Pro - Use the same Keyboard and mouse on both devices using device-switching feature. Will it work? Basically, I have heard about Bluetooth issues with Mac Machines (more with M1 Mini) and hence I don't want to use Bluetooth to connect these devices.
@@rishim6816 yup that'll work! Very similar with my setup actually. K375s and M720 (both have their own unifying receiver). Connected one unifying receiver to MBP and another one to PC. Love the setup, never had problems, very smooth experience...until I lost the unifying receiver on the mbp hahaha
@@earlmalaki Okay, so tried doing as explained above and glad to state it worked! No s**ty BT issues with any of my Macs now. Connection being RF and not BT, device-switching is almost instantaneous too.
@@rishim6816 great! Yeah unfortunately BT, although it has improved over the years, still isn't as reliable and seamless as rf. I'm glad there's Logi unifying, it's a huge help for us with multiple setups
if you don't need a numpad then K480 is good. It'll also feel closer to a laptop keyboard (chiclet) so less adjustment needed. It's also more compact (less keys, built in stand)
Dear Sir, I have query please reply: I have connected this keyboard to my office laptop where I have connected the Bluetooth USB receiver for this keyboard ,paired with 1 key "F1" and on 2 "F2" key I have connected this keyboard via Bluetooth to my Laptop Dell 5559 i7 6th Gen Model where I have installed Logitech software too, but do NOT know, that why I have to press Function key and 1 or 2 key to switch typing between two Laptops ; why not just press 1 or 2 keys to switch between two laptops? Is there any issue or am I missing anything? I have restriction of installing any software on my office laptops, so I can only connect USB receiver there.
Press FN + ESC to unlock/lock the FN keys to either standard function key mode, or media/special key mode. In media/special key mode, you should be able to switch to devices by pressing F1/F2/F3 without pressing FN first. On the other hand, while in standard function key mode, you have to hold FN before pressing F1/F2/F3 to switch
@@earlmalaki Wow , This works I just pressed as told by you ; Pressed Esc and Fn key, now I can switch between F1 F2 F3 keys without pressing any other key.. let me see how long it works...will update
Is there a way to disable bluetooth keys. I just want to press F2, and not connect to any other bluetooth device! Pressing it disconnects the keyboard and it's freaking annoying
