@@kiancabarle123 The yoke and throttle were missing the desk clamps, so Amazon actually gave me a further discount and I got them for £53! An absolute bargain for the price. I clamped it down using a pair of G-clamps instead, and it worked great. Having said that though, the logitech yoke and throttle do feel like using a toy. It certainly gave me the taste for home flight swimming though. I have since upgraded to the honeycomb yoke and throttle. It cost me £450 for the pair. It is nowhere near the logitech in terms of value (at the prices I paid), but it is a huge step up in terms of the feeling of quality and realism. At retail prices I would say the honeycomb is better value, as to get the same functionality with the logitech you would have to buy an extra yoke, the switch panel and the multi panel. One you have allnof those it's not such a huge jump in price to go up to the honeycombe, for a much more refined experience.

@@marklivingston7324 I continued to hunt for the answer to this and although I don't remember where I came across it, I do believe I have the answer. It does appear that it is to provide more power than what perhaps might be provided by the computer. That way if some other control device like rudder pedals needs more power than the computer can provide, that external power will take care of it. That being said, one of the answers I read said that they were running 2 or 3 additional devices off of the other USB ports there and they had never experienced a problem. My hunch is that providing external power would only be necessary for that unusual setup where one of the devices were a little more power hungry. As an aside, my interest in this yoke was as a stop-gap measure until I could afford to buy the Honeycomb Aeronautical "Alpha" or "Alpha XPC" Yoke. To give you a sense of the price comparison, the yoke you and I were looking at can be found for anywhere from $70 to $150 used. The Alpha costs $280 new and the Alpha XPC costs $350 new. What I finally realized was that I was being penny wise and pound foolish. What I mean is, if instead of spending all that time that I spent researching cheaper used options I had instead spent working at what makes me an income, I would have paid for 2 or 3 Alphas, rather than just saving a couple hundred dollars. The Alpha smokes any other yoke option at or below its price range. You won't do better until you start getting into the $700+ category. So, while the Alpha isn't the cheapest; it's a slam dunk as far as the best value. By the way, there are 3 differences between the Alpha and the Alpha XPC. 1) $80 2) The XPC is compatible with XBOX, which might matter to some, but is meaningless to me. 3) The resolution on both axis (yaw and pitch) of the XPC is 400 times more accurate, which most certainly does matter if it's not just for gaming, but rather for flight realism. Actually, there is one last small detail. In a normal small aircraft, just as with cars, there is a spring mechanism of the ignition that returns it a bit after the engine starts so that the starter doesn't keep grinding away. There's no such spring mechanism on the regular Alpha version, but the XPC has it. It's a small detail and not worth the extra money, but the higher resolution of the yoke IS worth the difference. As you might suspect, I bought the Alpha XPC. I hope that feedback is helpful!

I am not going to do a setup video for the yoke system. I actually don’t have it any longer as I sold it just because I didn’t use it as much as I would like to. Sorry for the delayed response btw and thanks for commenting!

To me that sounds like there may be a key bind set up to the rudder pedal, but other than that I don’t have any idea what might cause that. I would think that would be software/game based and not hardware based. Is it only happening in one game or multiple?

so it ended up being an in game bug and only with the cessna 172 and sometimes with the 747, with the new update its fixed

The power brick came with mine so unfortunately you’ll have to contact Logitech or exchange yours for another in hopes that the replacement comes with the brick as it should.

It has the two positions, that's why it has screw holes on the bottom and on the back. So you can place it on top or front of your desk.

You may be able to contact Logitech support and they may be able to send you the screws. Outside of that, you could contact the retailer and see about exchanging for another!

Mine did not come with a power cord either and I don't know that the yoke has a place to plug a power adapter into it, but either way, mine worked just fine out of the box running off the power from the USB cord to my computer! Thanks for the comment and I hope that I could help!

Yeah you can, I actually used the rudders with a joystick for a bit so you can use them without the actual Yoke System.

I tied landing gear to one of the toggle switches below the throttle quadrant!

You can use this yoke and rudder system on either platform! I used it on my Windows PC and the MAC in the video was just easier to setup and film in front of but I don’t use it on the MAC at all!

It has a USB cable that will plug into the USB port on your PC or Xbox. I am not sure if it is supported on Xbox however! Thanks for the comment and I hope it helped!

@@brownboysree as of now, only a Thrustmaster Hotas One works on xbox, However, when flight simulator comes out for xbox, a majority of flight sim gear will be compatible.

Whwhat about logitech throttle? Honeycomb yoke;logitech throttle;Thrustmaster rudder combo will work with x-plane 12

@@jayanth777 The throttle specifically doesn't work with Xplane 12 and Windows 11. Logitech says "sorry for the inconvenience" on that issue.

I didn’t buy FS2020 though. I was able to play it since I have Xbox Ultimate. But I wasn’t looking for a flight simulator, I just wanted an enjoyed game to use the setup on. I played on FS2020 due to getting it for free with my Xbox subscription. I will definitely have to check out X-Plane at some point though! Thanks for the comment!

You don't need pedals for MFS2020, but they will make it easier to fly with the yoke and throttle quadrant. You can always assign the rudder pedal controls to keys on your keyboards!
