Nice. Bought these a week ago but still to install them. Got a good price too. I'm upgrading from a 58 watt RMS , 5.1 4gamers system (No one will have heard of this, it's that old lol) It's lasted me over 20 years and served me well. The sub failed, so it's game over... So I'm hoping this is a worthy upgrade 👍
Sir I have JBL LSR 305 and they sure don't have the low end of a subwoofer but the sound stage, the clarity etc is perfect... cant imagine that Z906 can match anything else besides bass and with JBL you can always add a sub woofer, the sad thing that got me here is that AV amplifiers with pre-outs cost A LOT so no 5.1 for me with active speakers....
Who really cares about the name Brand JBL as long as it does the job, Logitech Z906 has good performance that's what it's all about performance and it's thx so that means something there are no Mickey Mouse speakers ok, there's people that have top of the range cars and they can't even afford to run them and they begging people for money what kind of foolishness is that, I could have got 7.1 or 2 klipsch speakers, I've got the money but I gave these a try and I'm happy with them and they do the job lol there's a saying not everything that glitters is gold. my brother and my uncle's have spent thousands over the years on high-end surround systems and have been disappointed with some, it's not always about the hype and i have the z906 in my bed room because they are small speakers I don't want two subwoofers in my bedroom and they outperform even certain high-end speakers, some of my friends have come to my house and listen to my z906 speakers they said the speakers should have been much more money. some of my friends who have high-end speakers have been jealous of my Logitech Z906 and I found out one of them bought the Logitech Z906 without telling me, I give God thanks for every little blessing I get because down the line he always turns it for a bigger blessing I'm thinking to get klipsch speakers also in my living room just time, I don't know if I want to spend that much money I'm sensible with money lol but at least I know Logitech z906 would still do the job if I get another one in my living room.
@@anthonyjones5924 Brand indeed doesn't matter, what matters is specific models and how good they are, LSR305 are one of the most discussed speakers for a reason, the only drawback is the 5" limitation for some that want bass heavy music. I had Logitech z506 and they sucked, too much distortion, not good sound stage, bad bass, kinda boomy full of distortion with zero real low end, Im thinking of buying z906 but I'm afraid that I might waste my time again, on the other side for an entry 5.1 I need about 650€ minimum, so its 300€ vs 650€, being entry lvl the might suck too, that's why I found this video.
it's not a sad thing for you to come on here the world is still going on lol technology products brand name etc or whatever will always be updated this system is a 10-year-old system lol and it plays better than certain high end systems not all of them, and it's not always about base cos you can adjust the bass, and you can still hear the other mid range sounds I'm contain and I'm happy with these for now in this present time of technology on advancements lol and your trying to twist my words, i am not saying it can match up with JBL i am just saying it does the job for me and many others!
