Unless you have complete control of colour from screen to print, it can be an impossible task to match. One good start is to get a high end professional monitor that can show 100% of the Adobe RGB range. i find that helps me a lot, in conjunction with the Pantone Bridge swatch guide and knowing the right colour print profiles to use. It is a bit of a minefield though.

Hi Mladen, in total, the project covered an 8 week period. This is because it is important to take breaks from the project so that you are always looking at things with fresh eyes. If you rush the work, or condense it into a few days, you can miss opportunities to improve things, or move ahead with something that doesn't quite work. This is something I have learned to do over the years. if a client comes to me requiring a logo and they want it done in a week , then I won't take on that project as I do not believe I would be doing my best work.

Yeah, it is an unusual name for a tech based company and we did discuss that. The client wanted to push ahead with that name as he felt it differentiated his business in that industry. Sort of a 'Fresh' perspective on event management.

Hey Mladen, My fee reflects the value I feel that i bring to a project, and yes, unfortunately for some people the budget is not there to work with me. However, by watching videos like this, it lets you see what level of work needs to go into a brand identity project. If you are starting out with a new project, my advice is to not spend too much on brand identity. A simple wordmark in a suitable typeface would be sufficient. The thing is with new businesses. You may have a really solid idea of who your customers are, and what they want. But, after a business launches, they can soon find that actually, they were wrong and they need to pivot or re-think their marketing plan. Now, imagine spending thousands on a brand identity only to find that it was the wrong fit. Start off with the basics, and then build up the branding side as you start to get better information and data on your audience/customer base and how they are interacting with you. Remember, you don't have a brand at the beginning. A brand is a businesses reputation, built over time, which is why we need to listen to our customers and make sure that we are influencing them in the way that we want, to build the brand that we want. Hopefully that makes sense :)

I’ve not had anyone else report this problem. Looking at the analytics people are able and are watching the entire video in 1080p. Might just be a glitch.
