I love the beautiful symmetry of the stagings from the 70’s. Balance and clean lines. So sad how Bayreuth has abandoned its past to give ugly productions that the vast majority of its patrons disagree with.
I totally agree with you! Respect for Wagner's musical dramas is now lost ... As well as the element of symbolism and mysticism no longer exists in modern productions. Excuse me for my English!
@@eirini1501 Me also, I’ve loved Wagner since a boy of 13 and 4 years ago I went to Bayreuth to see Parsifal. The audience agree with you and me and hate the modern productions and boo loudly and make their displeasure known.
