Grandma Smols is back! We loved this season 2 premiere! Even the Padawan was was engrossed! After watching this episode again while editing...there seems to be some mysterious things happening with Sylie in that elevator! Lol...can't wait for the next episode! Thanks for watching!

theres a third guy in that future scene, standing behind present-day Loki... thats who pruned him. There's a chance we'll see it from Sylvies' side next episode, or the one after that, something. I kinda theorized that the future he went to, was yes - either a few minutes, or hours, possibly just a day or 2 past the present point - just with the dust not changing at all, the timeline stuff reaching its peak, and everyone is told to evacuate - OB was going to try to 'retro-fit' the device to handle the multiple branching timelines and stuff, but if that fails, or he has to risk his life to try saving the timelines, the series could end with them getting Sylvie, seeing OB risk his life, or die trying to fix everything, and them going after the original Victor Timely - ONLY to have to return to the point of escaping TVA HQ, to find it falling apart, as the finale - where LOKI expains to Sylvie that his past self will be at the elevator destination, when future LOKI will be standing behind him, ready to prune - and wherever Mobius/OB are, one of them, on their adventures, will have to call at the right moment in that future, to lure past LOKI to the right spot. and that new guard guy - B 5 or whatever - will also come into play, in that trailer of the timeline where he's a celebrity (my guess would be he tags along with them at some point, ordered to from that Irish lady from the war room - and he gets to dress up and pretend to be the celebrity guy for whatever reasons). My idea about how Kang plays into everything later is that they learn more about the continuing cycle of the TVA, Mrs. Minuets erasing their memories every time, every 100-200 years or so (besides OB) - and that yes what New Rockstars was right - that 'he who remains' knew, as having the script, couldve seen a future where they at the TVA would need to expose the truth, for the timeline events after his death to go forward as planned - which is why he plastered over the statues and pictures of himself, to show the 3-time guys instead. I also feel like Mrs. Minuets is important too - more than a 3-d interacting hologram, some THINg, idk tho. And that Kang has more than enough advanced tech, along with Mrs. Minuets - to know how to erase the minds of the TVA guards. A less-than-accurate Idea that I liked is that they stole the memory-taking biotech that the Celestials had, or the red one did - he used a bunch of these 'brain shaped' areas, one for each eternal - at the world forge, and took their memories, to examine them. I would argue that Kang might try the same thing - to show that he is as powerful as a celestial, or run into one, and steal the tech for himself - which would give him the ability to access the memories, and figure out, or get some janky mrs. minuets-version of the device, to actively erase specific memories after/before a certain time - and he could use that kinda tech to see for the TVA guards' minds - exactly what the timelines had in store. Or again, at least this 'he who remains' that just died, couldve had his evil Mrs.Minuets do that work, as he has his magical script, and cracked palace at the end of time anyways. Last important thing, that new Rockstars and everyone seems to be missing - is before the end credit scene - theres a bunch of sticky notes, with ideas, and descriptions of visions, all over a board. I see that as a CLEAR example of how advanced Kang really is - able to get visions of what the timeline is, things that are happening there - using some device or tech - OR, writing down all the visions he has for the TVA itself, knowing that theres a nightmare, dream, and possibiliy the 'werewolf by midnight' departments within the TVA anyways - theres alot of clues as to what things mean to him. I thought it couldve been writers notes - but there are also a bunch of circles numbers variously, and scribbled symbols, weirdly wrote letters (where every other E is written as a Z, with a line thru the middle, T's are somtimes 7s, and other things), and bits of poems, or just phrases - that sorta go with parts of different MCU movies, mentions of mirrors, and a note detailing the 'werewolf by midnight's' Amulet, and its apparent curse of turning everything black and white.

Might be my favorite season opener of any Disney+ show.

I love how Sylvie pry thinks her life long mission of trying to destroy the TVA is complete, and the first thing she does is go to McDonalds. It reminds me of when people get out of jail or prison and the first thing they do is get fast food haha

Great reaction Smols Fam, really dig seeing 3 gens enjoying stuff together. Loved this season premiere from opening to mid creds scene. The dynamic between Loki and Mobius picked right up where it left off, and O.B. is spot on hilarious and genius at the same time. Also loved the warning on the floor outside the Temporal Loom control room saying that chance of "spaghettification increases by 7000%" mirroring O.B.'s early statement to Loki about a black hole turning you into spaghetti LOL. Liked and Subbed, see you fine folks next week!

Great 1st episode! Loved that it takes place pretty much right where we left off in S1. KE He's OB flows so naturally with Loki & MObius. Curious who actually pruned Loki since it was from behind. Cant wait for ep2!

Always check for post-credits. You almost missed it! 😊 Sylvie didn't prune him, BTW. He was pruned from behind. She was in front of him. Think logically of who in the near future of his time would know exactly when he needed to be pruned. IMO the answer is obvious!

So glad to see Loki back, loved the first episode of this season. After the small disappointment of Secret Invasion, it's time for another big Marvel Studios series. Also The Maravels should be coming out to. Looking forward to that. I finished "I AM GROOT" season 2 recently.

The Padawan would make a great Loki imo.

I'm sure you'll be watching some breakdown videos and you'll see the significance of Broxton, OK. I hope in that timeline, she meets some interesting characters!

If I were Loki, the very first thing I think I would do is take off my tie and then what I think looks like a gun holster, LOL! It's gotta be uncomfortable wearing all that. Mobius trying to run in that Michellan Man suit has gotta be like that nightmare in which you try to run but can only move in slow-motion. So, if Sylvie ate a rat burger at some point, would that mean she lived in the same time period as Stallone in Demolition Man, LOL!
