I love how is the lokie series we actually got a really good view of the powers that Loki does have. in the movies we never really get to see much magic other than his shape shifting and all that stuff I’m really glad we got to see like the fireworks and all that stuff
Tbh I think it was quite a bad representation of what Loki’s capable of. I wished we saw more of his past, his struggles of being a frost giant. Loki is capable of so much more than just fireworks
@@ravindunethsara7857 yeah same but I would think it’d be interesting to see his past. The only magical thing in the series was a bit of firework and that just disappointed me.
My man doesnt even need the stones, he's so powerful with all of his abilities. I just wished they shwcased it more during the early phases of the mcu.
So loki has…shapeshifting, illusions, energy blasts, telekinesis, conjuring+summoning weapons, enchantment. And on top of that excellent hand to hand combat with a skill of using swords and daggers and enhanced physical strength
@zakiabensalem He can also teleport, turn any object into whatever he wants (he once turned a cloud into a dragon in the comics), he has telepathic powers, he can create force fields, and can lift up to 50 tons with his bare hands. Also, other than people, he can enchant objects. All that without mentioning his cryokinetic Frost Giant powers (which he chooses not to use) I'm not sure if that's all, but it's what I can think of right now
I mean they are kinda different and do come from different sources but both of them have the power to rewrite reality which means technically either of them can have whatever powers they want
I want to understand the lore around his magic. All I know is Frigga taught him it. But when they say cast spells, I've never seen him actually cast a spell or do what strange does. He just conjures it straight away which is cool. Is he a master but doesn't know it? Classic loki said daggers stunt their potential for magic use, and boastful loki said but they look awesome. Hes not wrong! Hes a good fighter but alwaysss loses in hand to hand combat. I'd love him to grow his powers more.
I think it's more about their culture and lore. Asgardian magic is called the odin force, it's essentially using one's life force to create energy to make magic. That's why thor has thunder and everything. Asgardian culture is weird cause since it's something they all possess they train themselves to not rely on it too much but also train their other skills. Only certain individual who train in using magic like Loki, frigga and so on are able to use the odin force in more versatile ways.
He fights hand to hand to try to prove himself that he is at the same level as the other Asgardians, if he just used magic he'd be probably at Strange's level
@kkplaysgd they're not just illusions, he really can summon objects like daggers that really hits enemies, the quill and paper, and the blanket which you can see in that episode aided them when they're feeling cold
Well when asgardians try to conquer they believe magic is beneath them. They like combat. Remember it took all of them to take him out. Also after hulk smashed him he was back to making fun of them in 1 min lol
@@All.Fathers Or its just possible he's just too arrogant and believes he don't need magic to beat humans especially while wielding the scepter. Afterall onscreen fights he have after Avengers 1 are only Valkyrie (not even a deathmatch), Thanos (not that he could beat him even with magic), other fights are just against henchmens/jobbers.
@@ayakakamisato3769 i think the Valkyrie fight he staged it that way, he read her mind realized best way to see thor is to let her capture him. He saw who she was and knew that be fine. And thanos he sacrificed himself for thor, thanos had the power stone his magic would not work.
I just watch it over and over again for Loki's irresistable charm and cuteness. It's a part of the magic, yes? Seriously, Tom Hiddleston is the cutest purest thing in the universe and nobody else could play Loki better.
The amount of disbelief the writers for Loki expect viewers to have for how he gets beaten by regular humans(regular in terms of their physicality) when this guy was going toe to toe with multiple avengers at once. Bro is struggling with regular humans when he overpowered Captain America and is able to tank a hefty beating from Hulk as well as his brother can
0:47 Loki: (Makes teeny-tiny fireworks happen) 0:49 Fem!Loki: (Trying and spectacularly failing to not smile) 0:50 Fem!Loki: (Quickly goes back to stoic) 0:53 Fem!Loki: *_(SNIFF)_* Not bad. 0:55 Loki: ☺
Im so confused; his powers at base seem to be like Wanda's...rooted in telepathy and telekinesis...but the levels of power he displays are so inconsistent. Like did this man really stop a BUILDING from falling on him w his mind? And wtf is up w the green energy blasts now? Where did they come from?
@@iainwhite8617 Could also be in the movies he’s arrogant enough to believe he doesn’t need to flaunt his magic but with the TVA he’s completely outmatched.
@@matthewriley7826 Might be a cultural thing. In Norse society magig and sorcery is considered ergi, unmanly, which is weird since the very manly God Odin is also the God of Runes and magic. We see a little of this in a deleted scene in the first film where Thor dismisses Loki's magic by saying "some do battle, others just do tricks". Loki wants to be seen as Thor's equal so tries to use hand to hand more. This was brought up by Old Loki who said that their use of knives in combat actually limited their potential as a sorcerer.
I love it when he gets the uses magic I hope we get to see more of it in season two magic user are my favorite I love them all Wanda, Doctor Strange, Agatha,The Ancient One, Wong, and Shang Chi
He literally functions as both a god and not only that an Arcane trickster. He’s so OP I truly didn’t understand why he even needed those rocks. He was such a bratty little brother when he could’ve truly broken down each character one by one.
The building telekinesis came out of nowhere. I know they decided to introduce a comic ability, but come on. Consistency with the cinematic universe matters more. There's hardly any reason for the in-universe Loki to not use this power, but he somehow never did
During that destroying planet TVA notice new timeline event after both kissed each other but actually that event happened due to both Loki are going to die there, since their destiny is to meet "He Who Remains" at the end, most people still thought it happened due to they got close
Loki's magic is asgardian magic, eldritch magic is orange or yellow, chi magic is also yellow but most likely could very, and dark magic is purple, blue is the magic the witches of earth have normally that's why Billy's is blue but he uses chaos magic in the comics which is also blue for him so I assume he has both
Can u please do Loki and Sylvie scenes. Like without music that you added please. It Wallis be amazing! I’ve been trying to fine the scenes but all of them r edits with like popular songs in the backlund. Thank you.
The pain I feel watching the previous movies knowing that this is his true potential while he only conjures things and shapeshifts. Yes, I know he does do more than that but, we could've used some of this in like every other movie he's in. I want a fight between this loki and doctor strange. It would be much more entertaining than the one in thor 3.
Love is a dagger but ultimately when you reach from it, it isn't real, no, sorry, it is real, what happend to the ancient ones explanation about reality, which actually has some carryover to real life truth. What it boils down to is, some people don't want to admit its real
I was convinced that doctor strange is stronger than Loki but I also knew that marvel didn't show his real power yet, for example the power of his origins, I mean lufey was so powerful, and loki never used that power in any movie. and now after watching the series s1 and 2 I believe that loki is way stronger, and I love the fact that he didn't know either about his real power and he started to understand how powerful he is after seeing silvy and the other varients variants capabilities. I wanna see how strong he will become if he learn how to mix the two powers he possess (green and blue).
All magicians in the MCU can manipulate reality because any magic is programming or changing reality, as the Ancient One said in the first Doctor Strange.
We all will meet God the Holy Creator one day, get right with Him before that day ( Hebrews 9;27). Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him, He won't cast you away from Himself if you come to Him. He calls us all to Repentance, He shows mercy because wants to save us and have a relationship with us. believe and have faith in God then the Holy Spirit will come in and lead you to repent of your sins and God will forgive you and cleanse you by the blood of Jesus and you'll be born again. ( John 3).
