We've just receieved an official teaser from Plarium that Loki is a new champion coming to Raid: Shadow Legends as part of their Asgard Divide event!

same, i know there are all different types but even if it wasnt him was hoping theyd look similar. I just saw 3 more "guess the champion" only showing the outlines, and none looked like it could possibly be Fenrir. Looked like Odin, Freya, and Thor if I had to guess. None looked like a wolf....sadly.

I think the reason why your getting double messages is because your a content creator so they must have in the system to give you one as a content creator and then thy didn't change it so you also get the general one for all player (This is just a assumption). Nice Video

This is good news as far as QoL, if this is Raid created content, because we won't have that situation like with the MH collab where if you didn't luck out, you missed out. Granted, there's a chance the MH stuff could be back in three years akin to Ninja, but Capcom likely could be more fickle when they made their initial contract so that may not happen. Back to the topic, that's cool if it's Raid created. That's good to hear.

Looks more like Thor. In the oringal myths Thor was red haired/beareded with bushy eyebrows. And the shadow over him looks more like Lokis helmet. Plus loki and thor fought a lot and the advertising seems to imply Loki is the dungeon villain.

I think the shadow is from the king of ice giants, or another Jotun. The jotuns live in the frozen lands and are the enemies of the Aesirs. Loki is a Jotun by blood, but was "adopted" by Odin and he has been known to aid (and betray) the Jotuns before.

The new dungeon is going to be a new mechanic called "runes" to further empower weapons and armor. More than likely they will do a load of champions similar to the hunter collab alongside the dungeon release.

I will say, I don't think this will be the case, but lore-wise it would be more accurate for Loki to be a mythical I feel like, cause in mythology he transforms a lot into all sorts of different forms, he can be like literally anything. So him having a "normal" form, and then a more creature form or something would be quite cool. But yeah it almost certainly will be a legendary

I think it will be a dungeon where stages drop special tome pages and you can then “collect x pages from a tome (rare/epic/legendary) to make a tome”. That would make most sense and people are requesting that feature for ages.

When I was watching your cvc vid and you and chat were coming up with ideas for the champs, I was thinking (if they held out till sept) Loki as free login, Thor as fusion champ, Odin as mythical, then some others along the way, much like they did with the Monster Hunter colab

Although considering Loki's letter, maybe its two free login champs, (Thor & Loki) but you can only pick one, and depending on who you choose, that'll be the path you go down, fight along side Odin, or fight against him.

I was hoping that the devs would continue to add to Raid's unique lore rather than take from existing mythology. I guess a mythological faction would be fun. Gods as the mythic & legendary heroes and related characters/creatures as the epics, rares, etc. But mythologies from around the world are already represented in many of the factions so probably not. I'm still hoping for a seafarer/explorer faction - sea elves, pirate captains, disgraced naval officers, water-based skinwalkers (shark, dolphin, crac, etc.), sirens, etc.

I don't know how I feel about this real life mythology thing. It kind of breaks or dilutes the world they've built for Raid. Raid has it's own lore, it's own fantasy world where characters and factions have relationships to each other. Seems a little cheep to just bring in some other already established mythological faction. So where are we? Are we in Telaria or Midgard? What's going on here? Did Disney buy plarium? They going to add some overly emotional and irrational Jedi? Maybe start some complex system of alternate realities? It could be that they just want to start their downward spiral a little before Godforge comes out and get ahead of things...

My guess is that you can pick a side WTFFF Nubs I swear as I was writing SIDE you said it like 2 seconds after😂😂😂 so I guess we would pick a side and we can only get Loki if we defeat Odin but Lokie says he will be powerul if Odin is defeated but Odin says we will get mighty gear so it kinda makes sense. Odin will be the boss in that dungeon and we can either fight Against it or beside him in like a cvc/tta/siege mode

This could still be an end of Aug/start of Sept event, since we could still realistically be getting some kind of a 4-day Path event or a Titan Event for Skorrid's soul/s... Either way, crossing my fingers this new themed event is still a couple weeks out, as I'm trying to atm to activate the Revival Path on my account, after being forced to stay off-line for 9 days initially due to needing a new PC monitor... Only another 12-14 days or so, and I might be able to just outright buy Elva for my account?! ;-)

It seemed like there was at best very lukewarm reception to him... seemed like he got a lot of insta-hate due to the current line-up of doggos in the game, and the nay-sayers bemoaning, "only another 5-10yrs before they add the hound that makes him S-tier!1!!lolz" type of crap I really wished they'd done a soul event for him, as I picked up the fragments and am just waiting for a good time to summon him... but who knows? Maybe a Path event on the way that will have souls for both Packmaster + Skorrid?! Just seems like mid Aug is kind of a weird timing to drop a big shiny new event? Why not wait until say 5-7 days before the next Fusion event, like they did with the MH collab? Lead in with the 'free' log-in champ, then roll into the next Fusion which might be say, good 'ol Fenrir!?! (...hey, a girl can dream, right?!)

i think they're missing a great oportunity if they don't add a new mechanic with a dual faction mythical. Since Loki can change forms they could have him be Barbarian in base form and skinwalker in his alternate form.

@@l0ckmanjohn champions that do extra things (either as a faction lord or do extra debuffs to them) would make one mode of the mythic objectively better. Essentially, having it be double factions would be bad because of faction lords and champions that do extra effects to some factions

I don't trust Loki. He is Sauron, showing up promising us power and great reward, but is deceiving us. after we help him defeat Odin, he will assume his full power in the void and wreak havoc on Telaria.

With the letter content and the flame in his hand, the first thing to come to mind was Prometheus the Titan. Also, stay away from Vikings:War of Clans, it is a p2w pvp game and you can lose resources and troops. That game has Leviathans and Behemoths instead of krakens and whales.

I think the new dungeon is where you defeat gods to claim forge material for the forgepass sets, its called the GodForge dungeon.
