The more I read Al Ewing’s “The Immortal Thor”, the more I wished Marvel allowed for him to have never left “The Immortal Hulk”. He could’ve been the modern day Alan Moore (with his version of the “Steve Bissette, and John Totleben” in Joe Bennett) It might be quite interesting to collect all of his writing to see the greater tale he was crafting.

I didn't read that issue from Journey into Mystery that they are now reliving, but I'm familiar with the story that the comics adapted from Norse Mythology.
Thor has no direction and there are SO many untapped and countless possibilities of classic mischief Loki…but I trust Al Ewing as he’s my fav writer these past years so ima wait it out.
Ok, so I'm legitimately impressed. This actually is taken right out of RL Norse Mythology and the tale of Útgarðr Loki where Thor did, indeed, get allllllllll the upins...and they still weren't enough. Lots of illusions, lots of things to test Thor - a giant mug of mead that wound up being the ocean/sea, draining it several feet before Thor was done gettin his drink on, a wrestling match with an old woman who wound up being an illusion covered Midgard Serpent - thor wrestled the world and didn't full on lose, wtf! - and so on. Loki got tested too, mind you. But yeah - Útgarðr Loki was... not what I expected in this form today, even given we had an Útgarðr Thor. :) Dope recognize dope, tho. :) Fangz for the vid, as always, DSC - Dawg of Stories. :)
Roxxon Thor looks a lot like Prime from Ultrafoce and the ultraverse. Marvel picked all that up in the late 90s so wouldnt that be cool if Roxxon uses some of that.
The story is really cool but what really stands out for me is the close similarity of the current art work looks so close and similar to the old school artwork of the Thor comics.
