looks like boosting is required, therefore I stay with DHS H8 39° FH and H9green 37° for BH - the Loki Arthur K5 nonpro blade sadly discontinued, great blade lucky I bought two
It seems like some users are happy with factory boosted (therefore no self boosting). I have used both H8 and H9 green as BH rubbers. Rxton 9 is a lot more spinner. I actually won’t mind it as my backhand rubber, but currently there is no plans to introduce a Red version (mine is so scarce)
I still wonder why H3N BS is always used as a reference when it is as equally as expensive to those european/japanese rubbers like Digic 09C. I woud rather it is compare to more affordable H3N or H3Prov. Nevertheless, Great explanation! Keep up the good work!
Good question and thank you! There are 2 answers for this case. 1) Loki compares the Rxton 9 to the national version of H3 Neo blue sponge. 2) The national H3N blue sponge is also the pinnacle FH rubbers for many Asian elite table tennis players. A position that even D09C for example, can’t tap into.
Hi, it is called reverse dome. From the video, you can see that the sponge has shrunk to a size smaller than the topsheet. When you boost the rubber, the sponge becomes bigger and will dome the other way around.
R9 is targeted towards H3 BS National. H3 Provincial and National is based on spec and quality. It is marginal. R9 should be cheaper than Provincial, so in theory, it is the cheapest of the 3 and matching the quality of the highest of the 3.
