I'm surprised nobody has made the connection. There are more DOCTOR WHO references in Loki. Doctor who did a episode called the fires of Pompeii where he corrects the timeline by triggering the volcano but saves a single family. Loki travelled to Pompeii to prove to the TVA nothing you do at Pompeii would change anything because it was always destined to be destroyed. So the TVA would never interfere.
Now hang on, what's happening. Episode 1 was Wednesday. The music is here already and sounds magnificent. Samuel Kim is in the comments and has a version to come!.... What is this sorcery 🤟✨
Im convinced that when Loki came out and i watched it last week and then yesterday the new episode, he is now one of my favorite charachters, also the music really fits him don't you think ?
It feels like an Asimov atmosphere! That fits perfectly with the atmosphere of this awesome pilot! Bravo Tom Hiddleston, bravi everyone. I loved this first episode
I was watching the episode earlier and I saw some comments complaining about the music. And I'm just sitting here like, it's obvious y'all have no taste because the soundtrack is BEAUTIFUL 😤
Some suggestions: Rise of Skywalker "Anthem of Evil" and "Journey to Exegol" EPIC MEDLEY (especially that one), TENET vs Man of Steel EPIC MEDLEY Blade Runner 2049 vs Man of Steel EPIC MEDLEY Qui Gonn's Theme EPIC COVER LOTR The Two Towers "Where is the horse and the rider?" EPIC COVER Solo "Qi'ra's Theme", "Flying with Chewie", "Marauders", "L3 and the Falcon" EPIC MEDLEY Batman Begins "Eptescius" EPIC COVER Alexander "Titans" EPIC COVER Thank you for your work and your time
I saw a comment on here saying that this shi sounds like the soundtrack from fire boy and water girl. It really do tho like damn brings back memories (please make a fire boy and water girl mashup with the loki theme that shi would sound lit af)
it's the theremin. it's the same instrument featured in the opening for 'midsomer murders', a much-loved detective show. the theremin is par for the course for strangeness, mystery and unearthly concepts
