To Anyone who's reading this... Spend as much time as possible with your loved ones because we only have so little time in this world. It makes it even harder cuz sometimes they have to go to a different country just to get a better life for us. This song makes me realize more on how important is spending time with our friends or family. And to Make more fun memories together. Because one day, there will be no more time left. Sounds scary and sad but unfortunately its true. Saying goodbye is so hard sometimes. Thank you Lola Amour for making me more aware with time and making me realize more that it truly is important to spend it wisely.

Me and my very close friend (who is a dialysis patient) planned on covering this. He will sing and I'll play the ukulele. However, di na mangyayari coz he passed away last Aug 15. 😢 Ngayon, everytime maririnig ko itong song. Sya naaiisip ko. "Maulan ba sa inyo, pagbumubuhos dito". Iniisip kong "dito" nya is heaven. This song made more sense to me. At ang pinakamasakit na part ng kanta is "I'll be waiting in Manila kahit di ka na babalik." 😢😢😢 Dahil di na sya babalik. He'll be forever in our hearts.

Everytime na naririnig ko 'to naalala ko yung mga kaibigan ko. August last year nabuo kami. Maulan ang buwan ng August dito sa amin. Last year parepareho kaming nabasa sa ulan sa iisang lugar. Buo. But this August, it was different. Same pa din naman na month, same na maulan pero hindi na kami magkasama. Nasa iba't-ibang lugar na kami ngayon. I wish I could turn back the time and be with them once again. I wish we remain forever but then all things are temporary. To the person reading this right now. Treasure the moment, every seconds with your family or friends because tomorrow, next week, next month and next year might be the same date and month, even the weather but you will be in different situation and be with different person or worst your be alone.

I mistook raining in Manila as love song. Buti nalang pinanood ko yung lyrics breakdown ni Pio. If im right, the song is about remembering our old friends 😢

i cried. why is it so painful? the song's supposed to be for our loved one far from us pero while listening to this version, those who are not with us anymore came to my mind. it's been raining in manila, i'm glad you're not experiencing any of these situation. i'm sad that you're not around anymore but i'm glad that you're free from this cruel world.

Last week August 29, namatay yung palaban kong nanay sa sakit niyang cancer and brain tumour. She heard this song yung original version, lagi nalang niyang sinasabi na lagi ko nalang daw pinapatugtog habang na byahe kame everyweek for checkups kaya lagi rin umuulan. Pero when this ambon version came out, nakaka lungkot pala pag naalala mo yung pinagsamahan niyo within 3years sa paglaban niya sa sakit niya. Ayun cherish your loveones till the end, kasi grabe yung bigat pag wala na. I love u mama thank you @lola amour for this wonderful song.

The original version keeps reminding me of your Valerie cover with the duo Lianne and Naara, but this one feels the same (not in general) from your no tomorrow version, I remember my bestfriend from SHS, hidni pa uso yung gatekeeping before, around 2018. I made her a playlist from my fav songs mostly OPM then she added on the list "Lola Amour", I'm not yet familiar from the name but I give it a try, until fast forward 2023, we rarely communicate coz I'm living here in Iloilo while she's in Antique. When I heard Raining in Manila behind the song, as a solid Apo (your fandom), I made her a playlist, its my way to ask her 'kumusta" since we haven't spoke for a long time. We are still bestfriends, supporting each other from our chosen field. I hope we can watch the band on October here in Iloilo. I'll definetely buy a ticket for us, we will surely enjoy it since we both know almost of the songs, from the unreleased and top on chart. Her fav was fallen and mine will always be innerancy. Thank you for your friendship, Lola Amour, through it you have created a beautiful song, which resonates to each one of us.

This hits hard after I learned the true meaning of the song. My father was an OFW for most of my life; about 30 years. Come time he retired, it was unfortunately my turn to leave the country; I migrated. He passed in 2020 and I think the most time we spent together all of my life was maybe a year tops.
