Story time: My "onkle"(he isn't my oncle but he sedating my aunt) he's always messing with our family like making dirty jokes makes jokes about our looks ect, and even if there jokes and don't meant to be harmful it still hurts cause I got bullied and the scars of it are still there. I relate a bit to this song. I get angry pretty easily. Not to anyone usually. It's always my brothers. They're constantly saying rude words to me and when I confront them saying, "That actually hurts my feelings." they'll say "Geez, it's only a joke!" And, it's always the same brother who does this. Like, every time I say, "I'm not THAT stupid." he always says "Welllllll, actually." For the longest time, I brushed it off. I tried telling myself he was just joking. But, one day, I was EXTREMELY mad at him and I said "I'm not that stupid...." And he said "Welllllllllll." And, for once, I stood up for myself and he was just like, "Geez, you need to learn to take a joke! I'm just joking!" He can't see how I'm going through my own insecurities and what he's saying to me is hurting me. We were walking away from my house to my grandma's so when i tried standing up for myself and he said it was a joke, I couldn't take it. I'm a HUGE crybaby... but I try not to be. I mean, if you cry, they'll only hate you more, right? So, I turned around and ran back to our house, shouting, "You're such a jerk!" while trying not to cry. He never apologized. I'm still trying to give my brothers the benefit of the doubt, but, it's really hard. I can sometimes be a pretty big doormat. But.. every time I show them how I'm angry with what they say to me, they say "Wow, someone's moody" or "You need to calm down." I guess I have no right to be upset in their eyes...
