This song brings back so much. I’ve never been in an genuine relationship before. But every talking stage I’ve had has ended with me being cheated on, ghosted, lied to, or just straight up played. When I was in highschool there was this boy and everything was just different with him. His love was so original, I was so head over heels for him, but he couldn’t figure himself out, so he would constantly back out and ghost everyone including me, when ever I tried to open him up I could never get thru. The days we went no contact I never looked different ways. Each time he came back I still looked at him with the same eyes. I adored him because I’ve never loved anyone as strong and greatly as him. I swore I would wait for him, but waiting gets draining, I sat and watched while he was in other girls faces or walking past me making me feel as if i wasn’t there. I was so tired, I didn’t want to leave but I had to. As I tired to move on with others, I looked for him in everyone I met. and when I had enough I would ghost them and I hated hurting people. I get so attached, he was older than me and graduated before I did, I didn’t want him to leave without him knowing how I felt. It still tears me up inside. I just wish he knew that I loved him wholeheartedly, passionately, and I could never have more love for anyone else.
