@@kaikannepl8438, у Моники не отличный, но всё ж получше вокал. Касательно языка, то лучше хороший литовский, чем фиговый английский, от которого у слушателей ухи в трубочку скрутятся. Аутентичностть на конкурсе ценят. И тем же итальянцам инглиш не сдался.

there are more similarities: both are actors, both do not do drag outside their corresponding characters. both on heels and do not have mustache, both have white leggings, both have iconic songs where number of words is less than fingers. In both songs back vocalists wore silver ;) Edit: just remembered that both characters were created for TV/movie comedies ;) Let's just prey for Andrei Danilko (Verka), he's defending Kiev at this moment
The Roop was Lithuania's best choice to pick so far. Lolita Zero had a alright song, but Monika's song is better in almost every way. I honestly doubt if this even would make it to the finals, while I had no doubts that Monika would definitely pass through. I do very much understand that this became second, but it would not have scored higher.
At first I was rooting for Monika Liu. But Lolita's performance and the changes they made on the final stage really made this amazing and on another level. Now I'm so sad they didn't win :( I dismissed them a bit at first, thinking it was all about shock value, only wanting to get attention, etc. But today showed otherwise. It will be nice to see a well made and performed lithuanian song on the Eurovision stage but I feel like Lolita Zero had so much to offer as well.. Unuasual number of good choices this year in the finals.
I love Monika, shes in my top 10 but I missed Lolita a lot. Sad that he didnt make it to Eurovision, rip. But if he won, then my country, Poland would be very butthurt becuase they will think its a transsexual demon
I liked some parts of the semi performance better, but this was so good. The choreo, the music, her stage presence, all of it, high art! It's a shame it didn't win, but it will forever be so iconic. Great job Lolita! 🤍

I am devastated that we are not sending Lolita Zero to Eurovision.. This performance was absolutely great. Mesmerising, hypnotic, chaotic - everything that eurovision needs and I would've been extreme proud to see them on the big stage.

This performance was an art piece! - The intro of releasing handfuls of glitter as if to say farewell to the tinsel on the gloves. - Lolita's stage presence has elevated to MUTHA level as she commands her minions. - The removal of the censoring tone has improved the listenability. - The high-pitch vocals interlude into Lolita's laughing I quite liked because "you need to let it out" lead into manically laughing. - Eins, zwei, drei, vier - sounds like a reference to Verka Serduchka - "I'm not your mother" vocalising throughout the outro - Maniacal laughter to end.
@@Xxxypher No problem :) I love all of your observations, I am listening to this non-stop, so many little layers added, makes the song seem longer, fuller, polished and finished! I even hear references to Agnes, to Verka of course, refrences both on the instrumental and lyrics side.. just wow!
its 2023 and i still love this song - what a world class performance and entry.😍.. but sadly Lithuanias 70ies conservative Jury placed it like always.. only 3rd..... Lolita Zero is such a genius... maybe he should collaborate with Alen Chicco.... btw - I can t remember who won last year :) :)
Gutted it didn't win. Don't care either way about any of the staging changes, but I preferred the original backing track. The music in the original was pure, analog synth - a real homage to the #darkwave style soundtracks of John Carpenter. And as a synth-head, I loved it. They've added more layers to the backing track, and it just seems a bit more busy - and the clean synth arps and bass we heard before, are now a wee bit lost in the mix.
not the broadcast company, the whole country. Older people especially don't wanna see unique, young talent that's not super conservative. It's a shame bc this song is an absolute bop. I really hope Lolita goes again next year. They need to win!!!

Sentimentai is good, but I kind of prefer this to represent Lithuania. It's mysterious and futuristic and sinister. And it also has the right amount of weirdness that's lacking in Eurovision this year.
Damn! This improved quite a lot for the finals, especially the vocals. I think they would have gotten 1st if they had the same performance on the semi finals because I see now how this could easily conquer the big Euro stage. I really hope Lolita comes back with another rave as good as this one next year!
if this song was going to represent lithuania at turin it would *undoubtedly* be my number 1 i will admit the high pitched voice is not needed and the instrumental after the first chorus seems overdone and a bit too loud. one part i really loved about the pre-revamp was the minimalism, it made the song more intriguing to me. but the climax and ending are just sooo much better in the revamp...
