I have really enjoyed my stitchy time with you today! I just bought a new to me sewing machine after my brothers motor failed after 8 yrs. I was so sad but am now super excited to learn a new machine. Your sewing talk has me itching to start sewing! As for the neatest thing we have done this pandemic season is we bought a 1984 Jeep CJ7 and are rebuilding everything and we are using it as a school project with the kids.

Love the hair colour. Trying to get my kids to do anything with me in lockdown is hard, both at awkward ages but whilst they keep themselves amused I'm loving the time I have to stitch, read and binge watch box sets

Your Tula Pink collection is so lovely...I’ve had to go and have a look and now I’ll need to buy more! The best thing my husband and I have done on lockdown is use all the odd bottles of booze in the cupboard to make cocktails for the family Zoom drinks....well I say the best thing....certainly very ‘relaxing’. That’s such a cute stitch along.

We have had 2 birthdays last month for my kids - so for lockdown - we celebrated them as a family and spent the whole day trying to make their birthday super special. I baked homemade cakes...from a box, but still so yummy! Thank you!

Love the Tula Pink fabric, I gave several pieces to make into bags but need to get my bum in gear. The most fun thing I've done in lockdown is a twice weekly pub quiz that my husband and I take part in. Our friend from Hartlepool runs it for about 30 of us. The best bit is I can carry on stitching whilst doing the quiz.

The best thing I did during lockdown is drove to my brothers house- I got to see my bro and the kiddos- my 4 nieces and nephews and I got to chat with them for a while- I was in my car and they were on the lawn, but we chatted through the window. I loved to see them again.

I am really looking forward to your quilt! The fabrics you have picked for your practice piece are so beautiful and it will be gorgeous. I have done some foundation paper piecing before and the results are always amazing once you've got the hang of how to place your fabric. Definitely recommend a lightboard 😅 I should really pick it up again ❤ Otherwise I haven't experienced much fun things in lockdown, it is challenging every day for my family for personal reasons and the only positive side is, that it has brought me closer to distant family and my stitchy friends because of all the videochats ❤

Thank you! I have been enjoying the FPP, sometimes I get confused but once I get into the groove everything kind of "fits" into place! I have been looking at a ligh board because wow, it is definitely needed!!! ive been using the flash on my phone haha and blinding myself in the process LOL. Nice catching up and well done on finishing up some old wips! One of my favourite things during lockdown is teaching my daughter (12) how to cook and stitch and doing a science experiment involving food colouring in icecubes with my son (4) needless to say I found out that blue stains EVERYTHING!!! My son went round like a smurf for a couple of days 🤣

During lockdown we’ve done an ‘at home’ cinema afternoon. We chose a film we all like, made popcorn together and had sweets and fizzy pop like you do at the cinema. We closed the blinds and curtain so the room was dark and it was really good fun.

Aww stitch is so cute. My granddaughter loves a Stitch. Universal Monsters looking awesome too your almost finished. The funniest thing my boyfriend and I have been doing on lockdown is playing the radio LOUD in the kitchen so we do lots of singing and dancing whilst tidying up in there 😁😁😁 hope I’m in time for an entry!! Love your videos xxx

I just got that Emma Congdon book too! You're so right, worth every penny! We've been on lockdown here in Nova Scotia since March 13, the most fun thing we've done so far was an online painting class. It was put on by one of those companies that do paint nights. My 10 year old daughter and I did it together.

During the lockdown we have been box setting some TV series' which have resulted in late night/early mornings. Although this is fun to do it's the impromptu tickle fights that happen during the following sleep deprived early night that have been soooo much fun. Having disturbed sleep because we are over tired is not funny but having silly fun as a result is the best kind of fun!

That Tula Pink fabric is beautiful! =D During lockdown, my husband and I have started playing Final Fantasy XIV (the MMORPG). We both played WoW back in the day, during its golden years, before we met, and decided to give this a try since neither of us ever had played it before. And (for now anyway) it feels like WoW used to! Everything is new and different, and we don't know where anything is. LOL So far, its been a lot of fun.

Love universal monsters, it looks great! We were supposed to be going on the Harry Potter studio tour in Watford at the end of May, but that’s not happening because of lockdown. So we’ve planned a Harry Potter day at home instead. I think that’ll be the most fun thing we’ll have done.

Your Stitch piece is amazing and you’re right about the fabric being perfect. I love the monster house too, that’s still on my to stitch list! I normally work in a library but during lockdown I’ve started collecting prescriptions for vulnerable people, so that keeps me busy some of the time. I’ve been cross stitching quite a lot and making some bits on my sewing machine. I’ve done far too much baking! I’m slightly concerned my teeth might fall out before the dentists reopen! 😬 I hope you’re keeping well and coping with lockdown.

Best thing we've done in lockdown is teaching my 8 yr old son to do an 'adult' puzzle. When he found pieces that fit he's attitude was, oh this is so easy. Then when he couldn't find any to fit, he changed his mind to how difficult and boring puzzles are, and how he never wants to be an adult, because 'adult games are boring!' 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Your hair is always awesome, makes me wish I would go back to funky colours, n the most fun thing we’re done during lockdown is bringing the toy kitchen from my mums to my house and a green groceries store as well, n learning to properly role play, plus it means she leaves me alone for longer to stitch. Wowww!! Great giveaway! 💜 My favorite thing my family and I have done in lock down is fostering a puppy. It’s the perfect time because he gets lots of attention and is never alone 😂 Honestly, we are likely going to be foster-fails. My kids are really attached and we’ve named him Kingsley. All our pets are named after Harry Potter characters. We have two dogs Moody and Remus (and now Kingsley), an orange cat named Ronald, and three girl guinea pigs named Luna, Lavender and Molly.
