Teo is my current favorite fighter, but I must admit that fighting Loma again would be a mistake. I think Loma is smart enough to stay way from Teo’s power punches, and win enough rounds to pull of a victory. Loma is to technically sound.

I’m not a Loma fan. I just think he didn’t need to stay amateur for more than 2 Olympic cycles. Those gold medals and amateur credentials mean less and less in the pros. He stayed in the amateurs for too long beating up on teenagers and then had to rush his pro career. Then He’s chronically injured, I don’t know if it’s from doing unnecessary handstand walks but whatever. I can agree his level of coordination, balance, and footwork are the best I’ve ever seen.

That’s bc he’s a true champion. He chose this fight to make a case for the rematch with teofimo. If he dominates and possibly stops nakatani then he’s got a very serious argument for the rematch. If teo ducks the rematch then he absolutely should go after the devin Haney fight. It’d be a shame if teofimo sucks and vacates to go to 140 bc Loma would have to fight for all those belts again. Teo got off lucky and won 3 belts in one fight. Teofimo got a gift and he knows it.
