We are all to blame for this.

Thank god there is a process to deal with this issue. The Thames can in no way be considered clean. But it is getting cleaner, literally coming back from the dead, hopefully the remaining issues are being sorted. Meanwhile rivers like the Ganges are a pollution nightmare, and puts into perspective how important the cleaning and maintenance of rivers are.

It is hard to believe people want to "rubbish" this great City with trash!

Think it’s a little unfair to ask individuals how they get rid of it… go upstream from the river to the person disposing it, then upstream to the store selling it, then find the source at the company producing it… can’t expect ppl to curb their plastic consumption if that’s all that’s on the shelves

Saw just tonnes of plastic when on one of em river boats once was disgusting
