Another 80s special 👍👍👍 This is pure nostalgia gold. All the vehicles in there have the memories flooding back especially the yellow Telecom vans. They were everywhere...

My dad's old fish stall outside the Rosendale tavern. I didn't think I would ever see that again. Good to hear those old RM sounds too.

Another great video, thanks. Strange isn't it that in 1986 cars that were 20 years old looked like they were from another century but today a car manufactured in 2003 doesn't look much different to today's examples. Nice to see The Rosendale, pints are still being pulled there in 2023.

They were so iconic all over Greater London. Very popular London buses.

Ah the old Route 2.. THE original home of the Routemaster RM1 30 years previously. This incarnation of the 2 was withdrawn in October 1992. The 2B becoming 2 the following March.

Fantastic buses, the noise they made was insane. Look at the cars, we didn't realise how bad they were, rust buckets and made of paper. Driving seemed more aggressive and hurried as well.

Oh wicked! That’s the terminus at Myton Road @2:53. The flag is still there (it’s been maintained) but it’s solid parking now so impossible to actually use

London before it started going pear shaped and surreal in a bad way. RM1274 sounded particularly crisp and looked very straight.

Did you ever film around Crown Point in West Norwood? I went to school at St Joseph's College on Beulah Hill and the stops there were my exit and entry points for six years (1958-1965).

Vinyl roof Mk 2 Capri6:29with two of those strips dangling from it that were supposed to earth it and guard against travel sickness weren't they, or some such pseudo-science 😄
