Thank you for watching this, the first part of a two part video review of the operations of Stagecoach East London. I originally visited this company back in 2016 (and the video I shot then is still online); since then, East London has lost a lot of work to GoAhead and Arriva, and the size of this project has reduced accordingly, but this year Stagecoach has at least managed to claw two routes back from Tower Transit. The Optare Versas and Dennis Tridents have all gone, but see the tail end of Part 2 for a reminder of what used to be!
Stagecoach unveiled a new image in 2020, including a revised logo (as seen in the intro to the video) but, at the time of writing, only a few vehicles carry this logo. What is surprising is that brand new buses continue to enter service bearing the old "beach-ball" logo, presumably to use up stocks of old vinyls!
