Filmed in March and April of 2022, this video tells the story of the 84 service which ran for nearly 110 years between North London and St. Albans in Hertfordshire. It includes footage of the very last 84 to serve New Barnet Station (TE 889) on 1st April 2022, as well as clips of the replacement service provided by Sullivan Buses. It finishes off with a short slideshow of some of the photos I have taken of the 84 bus route since 1980. In my commentary, I forgot to mention that the very first 84 bus was operated by the London General Omnibus Company, using the iconic "B-type" bus, and it operated Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays only.
