London Diaries | Back on my routine, Winter Pickups & Brand update! 

I was so scared that we wouldn’t get a video this Sunday! I feel at ease! I even shared it with my friend instantly. We need that fleece Daniel! Winter will be over by the time you’re done ! 😂

A problem I usually see with newer labels is branding. I understand the appeal of wanting your name showcased front and center on the chest, but it might be better having the garment do the talking in the beginning. I would suggest trying to add the signature in the back neck/upper spine so it's still there, but not meant to be seen as part of the garment from the front.

I just discovered your channel and have been bingewatching a few of your videos now - I just have to take the time to compliment you on your asthetics and your overall style and also your editing which is on point! I love the London Diaries! Also you're introducing me to mens fashion which is a nice bonus.

Please don’t slap logos all over the front! I really want these fleece but prefer subtle branding. Why not place the signature in the inside of the jacket vs on the chest. Your signature silhouettes/materials can be the Daniel Simmons piece

“Subtle” can also be on the sleeve (near the cuff seam) or on the center back of the neck (below the neckline) See if you can if your sampler can offer it in multiple sections on one jacket. This way you can see where you love it best. Good luck!

If you decide against the logo on the fleece, I would definitely try a zipper tag instead, I personally love a zipper tag aswell

I always love subtle branding on my garms, I want people knowing what I’m wearing especially brands people haven’t heard of and the subtle effect you’ll be going for matching the stitch with the colour of fleece would be perfect!

Great video. One Tip on the Arc'teryx jacket. Make sure to regularly wash with tech wash and re-apply the DWR. That will help maintain in over time. Arc'teryx has instructions on the site.

Every time I watch your videos I feel so at peace and it becomes my routine every Sunday morning to live vicariously through you. I’ve become so inspired by your videos to live a more productive lifestyle, the type of clothing styles I wear, and wanting my room/home to have a similar aesthetic that you’ve been going for in yours. Super stellar! Also regarding the clothing line, I do like the final font shown at the very end on the brown fleece, but I saw someone comment about putting it on the elastic cuff/sleeve as an alternative which I think would be cool too. If you do have the logo there on the chest would it be black or monotone like the color of the fleece? Also I know last update a few weeks back you said there was an issue regarding the people that were suppose to be delivering/shipping out the clothing, so I was bummed to not hear any updates about that nor updates on when the clothing line is going to be launching. I’ve got my money ready for when it does, but curious regardless and every week that has gone by I get more eager. So that’s a good sign I suppose, but either way great video as always!

With the aesthetic of your space and flat, I think a monochromatic keith haring doodle would look really coherent with the whole minimalistic vibe you got going on.

If you want to know the exact year of that bomber, check the tag with the style code on it and the third character should be a number and that should be the last number of the year it's from. The number after that denotes the season 1-4 summer - winter

Hey Daniel Just to comment on the art request. Honestly my opinion is you shouldn't take on any opinions. I have art in my bedroom and it is just basically my favourite stuff, that I discovered from researching and stuff I witnessed in person in museums. My room gives me such a sense of individuality and cozyness exactly because it is a very good reflection of me. You will be better off doing you own dues and eventually choosing your own stuff imo. That would be a good journey to witness too, Daniel into art :) Have a good one bro

I think you are more of an essentialist. Having what you need and the things that bring you joy; but more quality items. I keep a minimal color palette but have what I need or I am adding it back into my wardrobe now that I am in a four-season location. I still think I am minimalist but some hardcore minimalists will think I have too much.

I think the logo would look best on the bottom of one of the sleeves in the font you’ve chosen but same colour as the fleece itself

Piet Parra is a cool artist you can buy prints from. He works with bold colors but his more modern work is also black and white. You might like it for the space by the table.

Bobby Clark a Melbourne based artist sells her beautiful prints (not for a tenner tho) but it defs would bring a bit of colour to your space!

If your gonna put a logo on them fleeces put it under the bottom of the zip in the middle i reckon

For the fleece, maybe keep the branding off the chest? A subtle branding on the wrist would be still very nice and showcase the brand but isn’t too loud on the front.

the line is too thin on the logo to go into the fleece, it's gonna be covered unless you thicken the line which in the end might be better leaving it as is

Hey Daniel, my friend Neve clarke (website is just her name) has some nice clean looking art with a natural and organic look as she turns emotions and life moments into a connection with petals and marine life. For your space I would probably suggest getting a selection of her side pieces that are monotype prints at the a4 size and are in colour (red and green) with a white border, the size and use of colour I think would fit nicely in the space and expression/style wise is similar to Hectars work. Pieces I suggest are: Blossoming ii, Flower in the meadow, and Petals at dawn
