Hey blu, wanted to let you know that when you’re approaching a double yellow, the next signal will be a single yellow, after you pass the yellow it would most likely be a red. I keep my speed under 30mph when clearing a solid yellow signal.
The beeping noise you hear in Victoria Station, are when people sign in using a contactless Debit/Credit card, Oyster Card and tickets to board the train. The same goes for exiting the station.
Here in the U.K you don’t sound the horn whenever passing through a station or stopping/starting, you only sound the horn for emergency situations or if there is a crossing ahead.
Probably a bit late on this one but you also sound the horn when there is a board on the side of the track with a W in the middle haven't seen one of those on this route though
I live in Brighton and regulaly get the Gatwick express to London and all i can say the atention to detail that they have put into this game is unbelivable i will be getting this DLC later this month
i live close to this track (7 min on train to gatwick) and am a regular commuter and am shocked by the accuracy saw my town a few times and yes you said all the names correctly while reading off the boards, lovely video. thank you edit: since our language is odd its pronounced the river "tems" but thames is a good assumption.
The "Theymes" river :D loved that :D It's pronounced "temms" (kinda) congrats on how much your channel has grown by the way! Wasn't it a few k last year? Awesome!
There's always Gatwick express advertisements on the pillars at platform 13, Vic Station. It's a dedicated platform for that train.. I think 14 is too 👍🏽
"I'm just a visitor". Yep. @ 10:00, Thames [River] is pronounced 'Tems'. Don't ask me why, it just is :). Don't worry about it, some Brits have probably never heard of Mrs Sippy.
The horns on UK trains work different they are more clipped and short and the high low noises have a point to them it’s almost like you’re flicking the horn quick high and then quick low and most of the time you will have a horn indicator on the side a sign that just says H
I always used to choose that seat by the toilet as it's the only one where you're guaranteed to be able to stretch your legs during rush hour. Different priorities I suppose...
Never used the Gatwick Express but used the trains from platforms 11/12 many a time! Great video sir, trying to decide whether or not to purchase this on my PS4.
Bro I missed Brighton so much I looked up a train sim of the Gatwick express. That route to the back of the station was the daily man, theres a sainsburys down those stairs that has seen me at my best and at my worst at literally every hour its open.
Just found your channel and subbed. I too love MSFS and now want to try a great train sim. Was wondering which you would recommend? Which do you feel has nicest scenery one that wont get boring between points A and B and most detailed. Basically MSFS for trains lol. Thanks again.. Keep up great work...
Great video bro... you know you can pull up your map to see what stations you're passing. Maybe you forgot I heard you say you didn't know what station you were passing. LOL Loving this game it's the most interesting game I've ever played. Peace Stay Up
I always wonder if you get delayed, either by accident or on purpose, whether the display boards say that what time the train is going to be arriving or if it would just say "On Time". Lol
See advert for this game... not really my thing but decide to have a look. Select a random video... skip video in a bit. Immediately at @2:05 see the display board of the exact commuter line that I use!
I have this on my PS4. I have a fair amount of video stuttering. I’m wondering if it’s because the game is on an external USB a drive. What do you think? I have the same issue on 1080 and 4K.
Being from NYC I was hoping they would have done a better job with American routes. I agree but I find the EU routes extremely fun. I was going to buy the LIRR DLC and after reading the reviews I decided against it because it lacked train traffic even during rush hour times. Someone it was was like operating in Chernobyl. DT is bias towards UK 🇬🇧 trains. Lastly it’s funny because of playing these sims I familiar with the network there, I even helped a friend that moved there
Yea sadly i agree.. the EU routes seem to be much more enjoyable to fly.. i believe they have more resources and even passion for routes on that side of the pond..
@@BluGames after the MNRR New Haven Line the sound package was trash I realized no effort was made on the content. Even NJT is not exciting I prefer playing the EU lines
I hate it when they block us to explore the station too. Why we’re not allow to go in there? It’s not that they didn’t model it. why can’t we appreciate your creation…..
I thought it was funny when you could switch carrages. As im playing the same one as shown it actualy askes you to climb down which actually switches carrages for you
A southeastern train in EAST CROYDON? Wtf I live there and also it’s just SOUTHERN, GATWICK EXPRESS Or thameslink. And the map from London Victoria to East Croydon is the opposite in real life London Victoria is basically where the In game Gatwick airport supposed to be, and Gatwick airport is where is in the in game London victoria is… if you get me. Other than that love the map, but the system is wrong, the maps are exactly the same
It's the diverted southeastern trains that go down to Hastings. They run via East Croydon when the usual line is shut. You can see many videos of SE 375s at East Croydon on RU-vid.
