The route I’ve set out is a stroll between several examples of the Maida Vale and surrounding area’s excellence in Victorian and Edwardian built heritage in London. The pubs on this route are uniquely interesting and each very charming, in both history and character, and the old churches aren't too bad either! In this instance, as impressive as the churches on this walk are, the pubs were each a more memorable experience, as you will see. London being London, a city where you can walk for hours on end, unknowingly drifting through neighbourhoods, I am aware that you could stretch a route similar to this out even further and throw in other local churches to counterbalance the pubs, for example, St John’s Wood church.
