Pianist Brendan Kavanagh was entertaining crowds at a train station in London by playing on the public piano when he was confronted by a Chinese mob who demanded he stop performing.
Footage reveals the mob aggressively yelling at Mr Kavanagh before a police officer arrived, who then sided with the Chinese group.
“She completely took the side of the Chinese,” Mr Kavanagh told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“Because they mentioned the R word - racist - she melted like a jelly.
“Her beef with me was that I said ‘We’re not in China now’, and she found that an extremely offensive phrase.
“When the police deal with these politically correct issues, they’re all over the place, because they think they’re going to offend someone.”
The public piano was then momentarily roped off before public outcry led to it being reopened for use.
