Just started going down the made to measure route. I've got a big chest but shorter arms so it's a dream to get a shirt where I don't have to have the sleeves shortened after the fact. We appreciate you soldiering on when you're so obviously struggling Kirby. Salt water gargles and warm honey might help that croaky throat.

I don't have a Budd shirt yet, but I have a lot of ties and I find that theirs are some of the very best - elegant, understated designs and fantastic quality silk. And when I received one of my online orders, it was accompanied by a handwritten note from none other than Kieran! That was nice.

Another good video. I have several made to measure Budd shirts and they are all excellent. My only complaint is that the buttons tend to come off. Have had to re-sew almost all. But it's a price I'm willing to pay for otherwise superb shirts.

That should not be happening on any MTM or bespoke shirt - especially not from Budd. I would contact them and outline what the problem is - they may be able to fix it.

Budd travels to New York on trunk shows quite frequently. If you need someone local, TURNBULL & ASSER does shirts. Eric Jensen at Sartoria Gallo also does custom shirts.

The guy says not to take measurements from an existing shirt yet they give instructions on how to do that on their website.

Measuring a well fitting shirt should be logically more accurate than measuring your own body or having someone else do it. Unless that person is a trained tailor and knows what and how to measure, you can't assume that your measurements will mean the same to Budd. It's better to use a shirt as that's exact.
