@Simpson's Classics I'm in Cape Town, South Africa where we built Minis up until 1983. The last ones were all unique Clubman's called the 1275e. Still my favourite after the GT and South African GTS.😀

Great video of an awesome show! I really hope its not the last. I came from south wales to do the event so made it into a long holiday. It was my bucket list dream to do the event in a proper classic Mini! Even though it was a bit stressful in parts (there was a small break down on the m4 lol) I'd do the hole event again in a heartbeat! I was one of the first cars in so I can't believe I didn't see you or the car but im glad you made it safely and it was amazing to see you enjoying Amber after the restoration👍😎

I have to say the one thing I absolutely love about the classic mini .. the amount that turned up to the event and I didn't see 2 the same . Looked like a fantastic day .. maybe next year I could go in the mpi .. seems an easier dream to have than the 87 .. shame you were stuck between 2 binis .. and I will not comment on a battered sausage in Brighton 🙈

The clubman is awesome 👌. As for the battered sausage 🤔 I'm not sure. My dad is from Plymouth so I spent all my youth between the North & South, mainly eating pasty & chips & fish chips & gravy 😂😂😂.

Its changed so much since the last time I went. No Crystal Palace, no Red Bull, Massive buildings on the beach, half of Maderia Drive fenced off. Take it they dont do the gymkhana any more.

Nope it’s all changed. In all honesty it’s not the same as before at all less tickets sold due it parking restrictions on Madeira drive to.

Very sad. Also sad how long I've been out the mini game. My first show was Mini in the Park when it was at Cornbury Park. I was 13 and we went in an Escort 😆 I was doing the L2B most years in the late 90s, early 2000s. Really hope they continue doing it! I think the BMWs would annoy me nowadays as well.

I’ve heard this one was the last one because not all cars where ulez compliant my modern mini luckily being from 2016 is ulez compliant but them old girls aren’t so bad the uk government has this ulez it needs scrapping and stop saying it’s because of global warming it’s to line there pockets , Your mini is awesome 👏🏻 😊

Yes this was the last run unfortunately which was a massive shame. I agree it should be scrapped there is absolutely no gain other than to make others rich. Thanks for watching 👍
