I be looking forward to seeing the Class 701 Arterios on the suburban services once they have entered service later this year. Which South Western Railway should have introduced them in service earlier this year. But were delayed because of issues with the new trains. I’m hoping that South Western Railway will allow the Class 458 to operate to Aldershot and Alton once the timetable has been updated.
I do and they are epic. Plus South Western Railway are keeping them but to be converted back to 4-Car (Class 458/4) to be used on London Waterloo-Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth & Southsea. And the Class 701 Arterios are expected to enter service sometime later this year.
