I absolutely love the damage models in this game! I also love how kill 11 was whining in chat even though he chose to go head on on an enemy that already had his range.

I use numeric keyboard 1 for commander 2 for gunner and 3 for the driver. Makes life a heck of a lot easier when things come to change position quick as possible. ;)
A fantastic performance as ever, I'd wager I'm as astonished as you are that you resisted so many ground attacks, the bomb bouncing straight over your commander's head is a scene that'd be right at home in an action movie. A lot of your targets never saw you before they exploded, it really shows how important situational awareness is and how bad it is when the commander's hatch is closed in those old tin cans. One after the other they presented themselves to you, if they were organised and flanked you, attacked from multiple angles or coordinated with close air support by acting as forward observer they could've been a genuine threat to you, the 76mm APCR is likely to penetrate the turret sides/rear or hull sides/rear at point blank with favorable impact angles. 34:14 This gentleman didn't seem particularly pleased to find you shadowing the control point ha ha.

yeah,but in actuality you wouldn't be sent or volunteer to go solo to wreck some dudes cause that suicide.All Of ww2 tankers knows that very well,and they would pick a group to be with them anytime
I just started ground attacking in an IL-2. It is so much fun to strafe tanks. I killed a Pz4 and a Panther the other day on Finnish. I was looking for you, but I think you were at the north and I was south.

Great video! I’m surprised at just how good the German’s camouflage is for their tanks, and often how bad it was for the Luftwaffe until later in the war.
Tough mission! Have you checked out a game called Post Scriptum? It's an extremely good tank and infantry simulation. I've been following videos by a player called "Vade", and he's one hell of a fine tank commander. In that game you work with several other players as a crew inside the tank, so the commander and the gunner, for instance, are two different players.
Yup I do play a lot of Post Scriptum actually, just not so much on the channel. In Tank Crew you can have other players in your tank as well. Gunner, driver, commander, and radioman. I should do a multi crew video one day.
There is also Hell let loose with tanks and have much more players (~6000 per 24h) than PS, but tanks are not that good , in next patch they will have tanks in mind, they refined infrranty, now they decided tanks will see some love. Good game to check, and UE4 engine is gorgeous.
The moral of the story is that you shouldn't rush blindly full speed into combat, especially if you are rushing past blown-up tanks. Seems like a good map setting, to force a smaller area of combat to focus, with the larger area to maneuver about into position. Also, good video, and good content!
Depends....if he played in warthunder "gay mode" ie "mini maps" etc and hovering above the tank probably not. But if he played in simulator mode then yes.
I really like how this game looks and plays. One day it could even replace Warthunder. Do any maps have hills or mountains or is everything always flat?
How active is the community for IL2 tanks? I have IL2 BoS, just the base game, haven't touched it in awhile though I kinda wish WarThunder was more like this.
this was like watching a movie just about, ugh i was on the edge of my seat, and the amount of luck you had was incredible. Especially when those bombs fell right onto the panzer 4, my jaw dropped at that moment. I love your work and formula of your videos wolfpack!
Well this convinced me to get Tank Crew for IL-2, Multiplayer looks pretty cool. Question though, does dropping in a server as a tank take away player availability to aircraft. Or is there separate server population caps for Tanks and aircraft?
can you tell me your graphics settings? i have everything on ultra, still it looks pixelated, especially on range its hard to see targets cuz they look just like pixels
What’s your PCs native resolution and what’s your monitors resolution? Make sure the game is running at that. Also check your FXAA settings for edge smoothing?
