Very similar situation I was going through. Imran you know because I messaged you but I took your advice and it's for the sake of Allah . Surround my self with brothers who take the religion serious alhamdulillah.
alsalam ealaykum this is for the brother who needs advice distance yourself enough for them to catch up with you find some muslim brothers to invite them and treat them to lunch or dinner befriend them but do not forget your obligation to those who do not understand Islam those friends that you had before Our prophet maybe peace and blessings upon him Head Friends were not Muslim in the beginning keep that in mind he lead them by example it took them some time to catch up but eventually they did so call your friends to Islam and do not give up be patient with him and say good things to them that may Allah grant the Islam and you are the cause of it
