Just turning 25 years old, I definitely feel that loneliness often. Busy work schedules as I begin my journey into a career, friends busy, single and not able to mingle (haha). It’s hard but I pray every day and trust His plan for my life that one day I’ll find the right one! Until then, I’m doing my best to live for Him and honor the name of Jesus! God Bless you all!

Dude, same! Another pain in the side is the current housing market. Pay $3K+ for a mediocre home for the next 30 years on top of food, phone bills, insurance, so on. makes it impossible to marry and have kids.

Even living alone, not talking to anyone for weeks at a time, being old and having no family and no real friends, I am never by myself. Sometimes I sense God himself has isolated me.This implies that no one will be by my side on that great day accept the one who really loves me. Jesus is there with you now, waiting for you to speak.

When I was a young man, and I would see something like this on T.V., I would have no interest and even think it is a bit silly. Now as a not so young man and after coming to Jesus 6 years ago, when I see this I have a completely different perspective. As it says in the song "Amazing Grace", I was blind, but now I see. needed this badly today. school sucks. anxiety sucks. feeling like my head is a balloon sucks. stress sucks. i miss my friends. i miss God and my family. i feel disconnected from everyone and i would feel numb and then break down crying at random times. church today sucked. i felt empty. but then i opened youtube and looked up a sermon, thinking perhaps God may have a message for me today. and i’m right. the first thing i saw was this video. i may feel disconnected but it doesn’t mean that God is not here. to those reading, remember this: your feelings does not define God’s goodness or presence. life may feel like an unending loop, but at least i have the hope that Jesus gives. thank you for this channel and to sir Graham. thank you for doing God’s work. thank you because it has reached a lonely and anxiety ridden teenager

I needed so desperately to hear the part at 17:55 where Billy Graham says, "Loneliness is often God's way of letting us know it is time to reach out. Reach out to the cross & you'll never be lonely again." I've been so depressed lately, saying all the while how lonely I feel... with my life, my decisions, where I'm at in my life. But, hearing that, I know I need God. I need Jesus. I need the cross. I needed to hear those words so badly. Thank you.

After a while everybody leaves. one of my best friends died then my sister who was my best friend also died; then my husband betrayed me. We have been separated for 5 years and divorced for 2 years. I have cried some bitter tears because loss has resulted in loneliness. Loneliness creeps up on you as you get older and your world becomes smaller because the generation you relate to melts away one, by one. Many years ago I was on a train journey and I got into a conversation with an old lady the first thing she wanted me to know was that she was bought up in a small village; that she was in her 80s and she was the only one left out of a family of 6 girls. I now cast my mind back to that conversation and I totally get it.. if it wasn't for my faith in Jesus I don't know where I'd be.

We appreciate your honesty in sharing your struggle. Things are not as hopeless as they may seem because God promises victory over temptation (read 1 Corinthians 10:13). You can trust Him to always be with you through it, for God “will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). As a Christian, you are a new person (2 Corinthians 5:17) whose sins are totally forgiven (Isaiah 43:25) and who has been given Christ's righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21).
