This was our wedding song. I lost my beautiful bride in December of 2021 to COVID, at 41 years old. We were together forever, childhood and high school sweethearts. After more than 25 years together I miss her more today than ever.

I married my first wife in 1981 and she passed in 2021 and this was a song she dedicated to me while I was in the army ...so I think of her every time I hear this song ❤ rest in peace Linda until I see you again

My wife Maria loved this song as did I. Every time it was played at a party we would get up and slow dance to it. I can still feel her in my arms as we danced together. Maria passed away from colon cancer on 10/2/21, 4 days after our 25th wedding anniversary. I miss her and cry for her everyday since that day. The one any only time I saw my dad cry with love and devotion toward my mom, was when they danced to this. I was nearly 50, so they were in their 70’s. We were at a tavern, and this song came on the jukebox. My mom said, “ let’s make this our song,” and my dad said, Then we must dance to it !” It wasn’t long before this message sunk in to my dad’s mind. You”ll be tearing/crying. “Through the years” by Kenny always made me tear up thinking about old girlfriends especially my 1st. Daniella. Were together almost 4 yrs. That was 35 yrs ago. We talked recently & we still have a very strong love there. But that song applies more to my wife & I who were together 32 yrs. Our entire adult lives 18 to last yr. Just couldn’t make it work.
