I've been in Hurghada 35 years ago. There were only 3 hotels back then, the rest was desert and sand village (and a huge constructionsite where they were building many new hotels). But the red sea was great for snorkeling.

I have never been to Egypt in my 52 years of living. I also am a very very fussy eater. I stayed at this resort back in Jan this year. Original went for 11 nights ended up staying for just over 3 weeks. At this resort. Again I state I am a very fussy eater , but I found the food to be amazing, delicious and well presented. The breakfast was great every morning , the evening meals were also amazing. There was only 2 restaurants really that I liked , Chinese ( Buddha ) and the A La carte above Aqua bar ( Podium ). I can not fault the food at all and the outside BBQ and grill was always amazing and delicious. I don’t know what your taste buds are like and what the problem with the food was for you. 3 weeks I was there and found the food to be amazing each and every day. I again for the 3rd time state I am a very fussy eater and don’t like much in different cuisine . Long beach resort with the food through I have to state was amazing . Even the fruit was totally different . I can not stand Uk strawberries but the strawberries at the resort I could eat every day. I have no idea why you experienced a bad case with the food. As far as I am concerned the food was amazing . The breakfasts always had eggs ( boiled and fried and omelettes ) along with chicken sausage and another one that was very similar to hot dogs along with cooked fries potatoes which seems weird but once you put them on the small little breads they have taste amazing. I’m sorry but I have to disagree with your comment about the food. I found it to be exemplary for the whole 3 weeks . From Jan 4th to 29th

FOMO at the airport free booze lounge... good problem. Looked like a Super Time, Great looking resort. The Director and I are hitting the beaches of Puerto Vallarta Mexico in June, can't wait. Cheers Mate!

Steve in Africa. Unbelievable. That was a complex pool complex. The crocodile was fake though. It takes more to fool me.

How's she goin'? It's nice to get away but sometimes you miss the home cooking!! That looks like a nice spot. Sorry the food is not that pleasing!! Take 'er easy!!
