Hey bro. I hollered at ya yesterday may 19. Same rocks you were at n this video. There was a few more boats yesterday huh. Great to see ya out there enjoy all the vids, we finished with 18 keepers and a few huge throwbacks. It was a slow day and we worked for em. I know you did too.
Man, you were hammering them Dude!! AWESOME! You are so right about the subtle differences with trout making a huge difference sometimes!! Nice Reds too! You almost had the slam complete if a flounder would have jumped on one of those casts!
Saw your Trestles video, watching the Hopedale video and wanna say the Trestles had been producing log specks for me with quite a few at 21-22 inches so far and believe it or not, just converted three of my favorite baitcasters over from straight fluro to braid/fluoro and missed a fine specimen of at least 17-18 in just this past Th.Had a buddy opt out at last minute and only boxed one decent flounder and missed quite a few fine fish,no doubt some lunker specks, all on my go-to Lunker City Shakers, mostly lately in Purple Ice.Went with a buddy in his fine bayboat this past Monday and we were chunking Black Ice Shakers(3.75)and unfortunately they no longer make Black Ice(think the 2 packs I had were promotional, gratis packs).Luckily found one last pack, gonna head back out this coming Mon and drop off trolling motor that decided to go S this past Th.Still runs but variable speed and reverse does NOT work!!
@@Jar_Fishing Thanks,Unfortunately my trolling motor decided she did not wanna go into reverse nor is she giving me variable forward speed, think still under warranty and gonna be somewhat handicapped on next Trestles trip but do have anchor,NEVER anchor at Trestles but might have to resort to that this coming Monday.Lost absolute beast estimated at about 24 inches not that many trips ago and have logged one shade over 21 so far!!
@@Jar_Fishing I’m glad I don’t hunt I know friends that are torn between fishing or hunting. Our team has too much fun with each other F’ing with each other while fishing 😂
To be honest, not that big. I started out a bass fisherman that made the transition to Trout and Reds. I’ve only fished for trout in Louisiana and I wasn’t fishing for trout back when the big ones were more common. But, as much as I like to chase trout, I’m just as fired up to chase bass and reds inside the marsh. I’m a Louisiana boy to the core, so what we have here is what I’m most interested in.
I don't know if it's me back in the day 25 yrs ago i would have kept enough to do a couple meals don't understand how fisherman today are more about likes than actually catching cleaning and cooking them up yeah so you catch nice trout and???
