A sneaky peek at a lake I fished some 32 years ago with my pops before he passed.
Just one of the venues where my carp dreams began as a young boy.
Long since been closed to the public, and appears to have been unfished since it’s closure some 30 years ago.

Places like this are really exciting. In this day where carp fishing is so saturated these type of places are few are far between. I once spent years creeping over a place at night to fish and had them up to 38. Some of my fondest memories and the most exciting period in my angling

That’s very true mate, carp fishing isn’t what it used to be. Everyones doing the same thing wearing the same clothes and buying the same gear. It’s like they all came off a production line. Haven’t seriously carp fished since 1995 would love to fish one particular private lake I used to poach regular again.Look forward to part 2 really enjoyed👍
