Welcome to the first episode of Long Haul Voices!
In this episode we explore how chronic diseases affect people's lives and identities. Individuals with #MECFS and #LongCovid share a deeper understanding of their disease experiences by answering key questions:
How do you create a “new normal'' when goals, dreams, relationships and careers are forced to change? What changes about your life and relationships with chronic disease? How does your identity and your disease interact?

My heart goes out to each person. I’ve been battling ME/CFS for 8 long years now. Best advice I can give is absolutely do not push yourself over your limits. Listen to your body, rest when needed, and ask for help. I did all the wrong things, I kept pushing myself and never asked for help which truly made things so much worse in the long run.

Thank you for telling my story so bravely. I feel less alone know that they are more people out there who ACTUALLY understand what l am going through. I agree 💯 with the Doctor. I think we do put on a brave face to other because we don't what to be the wet rag in the corner. We want to be accepted. How can we expect people to under how we actually feel with out sounding depressing to other. The Expression " laugh and the World will laugh with you. Cry and you cry alone". Really explains why we don't actually tell people how bad we feel and pretend we are better than we actually are 😭

Please test long covid-19 patients for XMRV (Xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus) using the precise methodology as the Whitmore Institute in Nevada, USA. I have ME & I tested positive for XMRV.

Judy Mikovits says that DMG (Dimethyglycine) could help. I'm trying it and it seems to be helping me. Also Ivermectin. Ozone, organic food, NAC, Zinc, vitamin C.

do we know what the stats are for those with long covid jabbed vu unjabbed ????

I am unjabbed by choice but got Long Covid in December 2021 while at a family Christmas dinner where everyone else except my wife and I were Covid jabbed. What evidence is there about vaccine shedding as I suspect that may be the origin of my persistent M.E./CFR? Urgent need for more research! Shocked no one else has replied to your justifiable post.
