Lil Cease said that BIG had a harder version recorded before Pac passed because his album was pushed back from 96 to 97. After he died he went back and watered it down a bit.

AFTER Pac died is the only time Puffy had anything to say because he feared Pac. Even after Pacs death they still couldn't say his name in any song. There are plenty of references though throughout Biggies Life After Death Album.
Brooklyn finest he’s laughing at pac. Nasty boy the original version he says his name sane on can I get witcha. Ugliest mc with busta he doesn’t but destroys him. Original king kiss goodnight to takes pac to bits. Had to re edit it on his death remove even harsher verses
4:19 mark on this video when he says "take 2" from that point forward he is talking specifically to TUPAC. He even said we ain't mad at cha. Tupac had a song called "I ain't mad at cha" lol
Agreed. I think At 4:48 he’s dissing Nas, as Nas’ daughter Destiny was born in 94. Bcuz pac didn’t have any kids, that line wouldn’t really apply to him.
Being that some things are being questioned about who had Biggie set up and killed, could the The Long Kiss Goodnight be meant for someone else. This was released after Biggies "supposed" death?
You should try some dmx he is another true to life with what he speaks very relougous always in and outta jail but has a great voice and was going to quit rap to become a preacher reacently
Nah the song could've been finished by Diddy after 2Pac died, and he could've gotten the lyrics off another song that Biggie was working on at the time. I don't believe Biggie would do that because that wasn't Biggie's style. But Diddy cared about selling records and I can see him telling a producer hey put this verse on this song cause he knew it would sell.
This is a Pac diss but I dont like that they switch the words on this,Biggy never mention Pac name because thats not his his style so he never said Knockin Tupac shit,he said Knockin Mase shit
Songs like this and others that he did after 2pacs death had people really pissed about the situation the biggest mistake big did was listen to diddy about going to LA he was headed straight to the lions den like 2pac said they talk shit after I'm gone because fear me in a physical form
Biggie never feared him and Pac is a legend but if anything biggie kept blowing up and stealing Pac Spotlight so he dissed Big for money Fame clout and to have ppl think he was hard so they would buy his record but Big sold 10m in 2 years went diamond took Pac until 2012 and his album been out since 1996 so.. Plus Biggie did not give a fuck about the beef he was avoiding that shit and Made great music to his album

@@texascountryboy4285 Crazy thing is Big did a couple verses of this song IN LA on LA radio shortly after Pac passed which didn't seem like a good idea because he didn't make it out of LA alive.
@@texascountryboy4285 Most likely, they went over there WAY too soon. Pac had just passed 6 months prior and those wounds were still very fresh. Biggie and Puffy went over there for an award show, got arrogant and comfortable an stayed out there too long
