You will continue to be my go to e-board youtuber. Please and thank you, keep it up. Especially the maintenance videos. Super duper helped me keep up on my boards
Hi Daniel, thanks for this video, I really appreciated it. I have just one question for you, which one do you think is better: this B-one or the Propel Pivot GT? Thanks in advance.
I bought this skate 15 days ago and honestly I had different problems that I didn't like. For example the central part is covered with a fake carbon film that rises around the screws and air bubbles also form. Furthermore, inside the box I found two very heavy iron bars which knocked out all the accessories and also scratched the table at the bottom and also dented the charger. Not to mention that I found a corner of the board where the anti-slip was missing and where I found a small hole in the carbon part and some white marks due, I think, to the glue that was removed. Furthermore, the rear hole, where the plate with the light is and where the wheels attach, has several imperfections, as if it had been cut badly. Support provided me with a new charger and a set of 90mm wheels and generally always responds to messages, but I can't say that the skate is free from defects or that it has a high build quality. And also the company is not attentive to many details. Furthermore, the remote control runs out of battery too quickly compared to the autonomy offered by the skate. Has the same thing happened to anyone else?
For real. Noone seems to be doing some kind of nicely designed integrated taillights that work with the remote and the esc. There are only these weird smart gyro taillights with weak hinges that eventually will fall off or break from road vibrations and indicate false break. B-one's using the feedback from the remote as it's connected to the esc. I will definitely use it for my board if they sell it seperately. And i also hope someone will create a functional led rgb strip that we can stick at the side of the board and use it as turn indicators. Many people including me aren't electricians and can't use arduinos or solder stuff. Awaiting for a user friendly plug n play product. Esk8 lack many essential features that escooters have since day 1
This was a great review thank you, currently at 950 miles on my backfire g3. Recently put cloud wheels on really like them only sad about the range loss went from 19miles to 12-14 unfortunately but anyways hoping to come across a board you review that fits what I’m looking for in my next purchase
Damn nice board actually. But the branding design (name) is *meh*. Insane battery, damn. So you recovered the accident footage 😅? +40km/h and just some scrapes, you're lucky 🙌🙌😅 The pricing and Wh overview with the subtle "lol" 🤣🤣🤣
@@MyWorldAsDylan I actually felt the wobble coming, it wasn’t a big wobble all of a sudden. I should have eased off at that point and tried top speed again after it recentered, but got overconfident I guess. Wobble got bigger and I lost control.
I think...the trucks are now to be with a little more wider width. There are actually wider trucks then the 9inch. Since there getting more and more powerfull and faster, current trucks cannot handle the wobbles happening at higher speed anymore. Simple comparison with mountainboards...they have a very wide truck which makes it much much more stable when riding at top speed. Now speed is not always just for experts. And managing to stay stable at top speed also means safety guarenteed from the board itself.
Yeah that was a regretful mistake. I was mistaken because the label on the ESC says 25A each, but it’s limited to 15A each in the program. I cut out the parts where I mentioned 50A and added a notice in the description.
I have been riding my double kinpin trucks as singles. Snapped front truck kinpin on the 'truck arm,' (middle piece between hanger and baseplate) base plate kinpin was ok to put hanger back on. So basically lowered my Lycaon trx 2.0 as I'm waiting on replacement parts. Bit of a mission though as motors couldnt fit, hitting board, to do the same on the rear truck. I had to redrill new mounting holes slightly repositioned. Guard had to come off too. Little scrap up steep gutters but not to bad, I need it to get to work so it will have to do for now. It actually feels way more safer as single kinpin trucks now being lower at higher speeds, but not quite as good at turning.
I use half-eliminator bushings on the board side of my double kingpin trucks. I'm not sure if full-eliminators would work, but it looks like they might. It definitely has the same effect of reducing the movement of the bushing.
Hi Daniel, thanks for your videos! I am about to pull the trigger for my first electric skateboard, and coming from the EUC range is important for me. How would you rate this board from 1 to 10? Portability is not an issue, and neither high speed. I want to cruise for at least 40 km without recharging
I ordered the wowogo AT2 and they didn't tell me about the battery change until after I bought it. I'm gonna try to return it and I'm gonna decide between this board or the hammer. We will see ! Also... Daniel, do you think the AT2 is worth returning to get either of these boards?
I know my question is weird but how long (Time) can you ride with this board ? And wich is better between the Backfire zealot S and this board ? Can i use the Zealot S to chill in my city during the night for a long time ?
If I did my range test on this board by riding non-stop, it would have been over in 1.5 hours. But the reality is there are red lights and other situations where you need to slow down or stop, and also need to take breaks. So I think the range test took me about 3 hours. If you’re just chilling and not riding far at all, well technically it can last you several days. Just depends how much you’re using the battery. As for Zealot S or this board, I suggest you at least compare their weights and battery sizes. See if you need more portability or more range.
Cant compare a hobbywing to a vesc based esc, the vesc gona smoke any hobbywing any day. Eovan is set up with 62.5A per motor. Most 2in1 boards with hobbywing ESC only have 15A like onsra, wowgo, verreal and ownboard while Exway Atlas with 20A and B one with 25A per motor. Thats a HUGE difference.
Hi Daniel, Big fan of your production since the begining ;-) I own a GTS carbon Pro from Eovan and i can tell you how i'am surprised : they look exactly the same (in term of battery, motors and shape of the board.) Eovan has an ESC based on vesc. Major difference. About trucks : I experienced wobbles too, but not so much on a regular surface. But, I ran on a manhole one time and the board almost threw me off. I changed bushings for riptide ones and it totally changed the game ! much more stability even at higher speed (over 50 playing with various Pulleys Eovan provides.) Thanks again for all you do, keep going !
I currently have a boosted board stealth but it died a couple of days ago. I’m in the market for something new in the $1500-2000 price range. I currently live in NYC and I use my skateboard as a commuter vehicle to work (2 miles from home to work) I would like something with more range as I always bring my booster charger with me wherever I go. I wanted something slightly faster, way more range, and overall better than the boosted. I’m deciding between the Onsra BC2 , Exway Atlas 2WD, and this B-one Hercules. Anyone have suggestions? Idk about Kali either, since its based in NYC.
Since there are not much reviews (almost none) to the board i want to buy and you seem to be a reliable source when it comes to eboard reviews, Id like to ask you for you opinion on the new AEBoard K1. Im about to buy it but im still a bit unsure because the specs of this board are better than almost any other board in its price range. (31mph, 14s4p battery, incredible range, direct drive etc. for just 700 dollars). Could please help me out?
Hi Daniel I'm torn between a few boards, could you advise on the following (this is my first board). I'm looking at the wowgo at2 or 3x, backfire zealot s, exway atlas 2wd or onsra black carve 1 belt drive the last 2 are obviously more expensive.
Try out Strava app, it doesn't have an sk8 category but I find the GPS and tracking are more accurate than Ride. However the top speed recording feels inaccurate.
Awesome review man! :D. I'm trying to decide between this and the ownboard zeus at the moment. Just wondering if you are planning to do a review on it? Anyways keep up the good work! Your content is nice to watch :).
Propel Endeavor pro- $1799- 1110wh. A dominator compared to the comps listed. They look like they did a really nice job with this board, definitely a company to keep an eye on. Well done B-one and great coverage Daniel, thanks.
@@pulseboardeu its not on the same category those 2 boards are $600, even the zealot can smoke the RS. You should try to compare the RS to other 2 in 1 board in the market.
Damn there’s absolutely no con cave on this board, you need that for going high speeds and too feel more comfortable on the board but that’s just me, I have an onstra
I like your videos a lot. Is there any video where you don't say you prefer stiff decks? It's like your trademark.. also, serious question, how does this compare to the propel endeavor pro? Same price and that seems like the perfect 2wd AT board!
The term "all-terrain" is kind of a misnomer since most AT boards are more for street use with some off-roading capability, like SUVs. Propel's board appears to be more capable in off-road situations. A downside is likely its weight and portability. I'm eager to try it out. I think I'm in the next production batch. Btw I prefer stiff decks.
I was so set on getting an Eovan GTS Carbon Pro, but now after seeing this video I'm not so sure. How would you directly compare the two against each other, I'm planning to use it just to ride around my city on AT Tyres
The market is already oversaturated by chineese brands so now people are just gonna have a harder time choosing a board. Now top brands are gonna over hype and over price they're new boards while sacrificing quality.
That sucks for new riders that don't do their research, but for those familiar with the industry will be able to know which companies are committed to quality at a fair price.
looks like a great board, I'm so excited about these new AT boards there's just so many amazing options with some absolutely incredible value. I'd love to see you take a look at the Propel boards, the base $1k option is definitely a great value and I'm curious if that's true for the higher end ones.
Aw man… this, Atlas or AT2? I wanted the AT2… Then Atlas…. but now I just don’t know anymore. How do you think this would’ve done in the uphill battle?
Correction: max current isn't higher! The hardware is rated for 50A but the program limits it to 30A. So at 12S it should perform similar to the Onsra Black Carve 2 and Bibuff U2. Still near the top but unlikely to be at the very top.
