At Kootenai Falls, MP 1330.3, we catch two long stack trains, a Z and an S train, followed by a Vehicle train takes the siding for a westbound Manifest before departing. I hope you enjoy the video!

I remember when the conductor would go on the ground and do a roll -by inspection. I haven't seen that for a while. I'm guessing they don't do that anymore. 🤔🇺🇲
They don't do it very much at all John. Once in a blue moon, I'll see the conductor get off the train to do a roll by and on occasion I'll hear the crew give the passing train a highball but not get out of the cab. You would think the railroad would require roll by inspections (the actual get off your ass and go look) for safety reasons if nothing else! Thanks for watching my friend!
