One of the most graceful of ducks in mostly slow motion. It is hard to not like these soft calling, aquatic wonders. Videoed in Long Island Sound near Stratford, Ct.
Somethings to consider: The cameras used were Olympus Om1 (mark 2, mark3) Lenses were 300mm with a 1.4 tc @ 120fps., and a 40-150mm Zoom with a 2.0 tc @ 60 fps. , all Olympus "Pro" line, (even if I am not a pro, my lenses are!). No tripods were needed. While the video was shot without sound (slow -mo) , I found an online site that not only had sounds of Long-tailed ducks, but mixed in with gulls and surf! This video is pretty mellow. We all could use a little more of that.
