I bought a used 2014 NV350 diesel. What we could not detect during the pre-purchase inspection, which is a major issue, is the white exhaust smoke that I noticed just after I bought it. I am told these models' injectors are prone to early failure which causes the white smoking. Replacing the injectors is a delicate job which if not done properly causes higher fuel consumption.
Hi Sir! How about the engine? I heard the turbo actuator doesn't last long than the hiace. What are your problems on the engine Sir after 4 years of use? Still deciding this or the hiace cargo to have a customized seats but i'm leaning on this one as it has a child lock on the sliding door.
4 years daily driven and no engine/turbo problem at all. Prior to this i had a 2012 Navara D40 with the same YD25 engine and never had a single problem except for regular maintenance.
@@TheManoy66 thank you Sir for the input. I thought it was a common problem. I subscribed to your channel Sir. I also liked the motorcycle videos. Though not riding anymore because of the kids.
Thanks for the video. I'm a builder in New Zealand and probably will buy a 2018 used version of this. The cargo version doesn't have any of the luxuries that dont seem to work properly and come stock with power windows here. So if the A/C is godlike and engine is solid I think im sold on it.
@@TheManoy66 Well I went to the dealership yesterday and drove the Nissan, ended up buying the Hiace. just a huge difference between them when you looking at 2018-2019 models. day and night. Fit and finish, driving, power, everything is far better on the hiace. Was so surprised. Nissan was still very good, but It felt like a 2008 hiace rather than something new. A case of pay less get less I suppose.
@@Sgten01 congratulations on your new van! The newer HiAce models definitely have better fit and finish compared to the Urvan of that same year and the price difference is worth it.
I have the passenger van 2015 and Nissan is utter junk , I had issues with my ecu not storing I jector codes , suction valve issues, tail gate noisy no matter how I try to stop it. Rust around the windshield and drain points, it's poor build quality and cheap material , and can go on on , would never purchase another Nissan vehicle again horrible van in general
That is pretty sad to know you had a bad experience with your urvan. We get what we pay for in the end. Nice of you to share your honest review and thank you for watching. 👍
Shameful from nissan, they were able to make a toyota product the bargain in the segment. IIRC, our urvan's are from japan? absolutely horrific attempt by nissan.
