I enjoy seeing the representation of what is possible with our natural hair, yes we can do elaborate and intricate styles, but our natural hair can be kept quite simple and manageable in styles that don't take forever to install. I believe there are so many naturals who can benefit from simple, healthy, quick styling especially athletes, those who are dealing with physical or mental health issues, those who just need a more laid back routine. I personally am trying to loc my hair now, because I want a simpler hair care routine. Your hair is beautiful 😍
Did I hear you say you're watching Naruto? 😅 6 plaits is quite a small number - how long are you typically keeping them in for; is it two weeks with a wash inbetween? Do you feel you experience more length retention with the larger braids?
You heard right 😁 So far, I've been keeping them for 2-3 weeks. The first set is the one I wash my hair in. After the first week is over I redo the braids and keep them for another week then wash them before the 3rd week begins. I've been busy so this works for me.
