WG should make a PvE mode for Blitz event. I remember playing Leviathan Halloween game mode on WoT PC 2017. I still miss that. I wish WG make something similar for Blitz

It would be very interesting, although it seems like WG has stopped doing all of these limited time events. They shifted more towards implementing stuff that will stay in the game permanently. My guess would be that they don't want to invest too much into something that will be removed after few weeks anyway. Such events are very fun to play, but probably not too profitable for WG

Oh man, i remember this from when it came out. Never thought id see it on action ever again. I did see one being used about 4 or 5 years ago in randoms, and of course, i called him a cheater lol. Very cool to see it again

Huh, i am not aware of anyone receiving T49A after it's initial removal apart from us, so it probably was some WG tester or someone who actually got it by exploiting some bug in WG's system. If it was any CC, he would probably cover it in one of his videos. Sadly this is probably the last time we can see this tank in randoms and most likely ATGMs in general as well.

Wargaming might surprise us, but i highly doubt it. Wargaming haven't done any special limited time events like that for years now, last time being a World of Ducks event in 2018 iirc. They shifted more towards adding stuff that will stay in the game for years instead of implementing an entirely new mode just to remove it after few weeks

This is not how I remember players using the T49 A. You aim up, fire, and stuck your aim to enemy, Guaranteed ammo racked. I was there. 3000 years ago...

wg should give this to us who had it back then for use in training rooms, and give it the old rocket mechanic back to do actual artillery style shots again. i am kind of disappointed they removed the old rocket mechanic from it. thanks for making the video!

Old Missile mechanic was probably removed from the game all together when they were adding sheridan. I don't think it's even possible to bring it back at this point. Those auto aim shots were probably a bug that wasn't suposed to happen, rather than an actual feature

Thinking of how the T49A event went in the past, it sounds nice for wg to make events specifically to test future features ngl would be cool but it might come with its own problems

I've still got one of my highest WR in the game with this tank, it was an absolute monster and I absolutely loved playing it. But yeah it was so broken it wasn't fun to fight against, it did make mm interesting to say the least.

At T7 if you hit the ammo storage, it is ammorack nearly every time. But the hard part is that you need to penetrate and do so with the HE missile which only has around 90 pen. The HEAT missile has standard module damage for a 152mm cannon.

@@blitzhub6168I think what made it so OP was that the HE could fly all over the map and could just dump on the tanks very lightly armoured roof and therefore almost always pen. That’s almost impossible with this new system.

they should bring it back no matter what, because almost all players love this tank and everyone will be happy that the return of this tank will increase the interest of the game, how come they don't understand that it was a very illogical move to nerf Sheridan after that, and I don't enter the game after that there are many players, I hope t49a will come back and thanks for the video!!

We will soon make a video about how could it potentially come back, but it definitely can't do so in the current state. It's blatantly overpowered just like Sheridan was on release.

It is more than insane. When we tested it in training rooms it could one shot ammorack basically any tank below T10 reliably. When it comes to T10 though, it would usually need 2 shots

Module damage is reduced by 50% at the center of the explosion, and this applies to all HE shells. This is the reason why no 60TP can be fired with HE in one shot with the FV 183. Additionally, module damage gradually decreases from the center to the explosion radius.

I remember this very well. And though it absolutely broke the game. I miss it so much. Would love to see it come back in a fun mode. Any chance we can ever play it as well? Maybe in a fund mode, PVE or even just training rooms.

As of now, i don't think it's possible, the tank is completely unobtainable unless WG manually adds it onto your account. But who knows, maybe we will see it back at some point in the future.

It is not. It's a 7 year old event exclusive vehicle that was only available for one month and was removed later on. Judging by how people reacted to us playing it, it will probably not come back ever again in any way shape or form

2 is not even the highest amount of ammoracks we have done in a single game :) In a single day we had like 6 or 7 games with 2 ammoracks and nearly every single other one featured at least 1

I doubt it will happen since WG abandoned idea of ATGMs as a whole, but sinc it's kept in files, who knows, maybe one day we will see it back

Tbh we didn't have to do anything special. We just asked WG and their response was "sure, why not". If other CCs asked for it, the response would have likely been the same, it's just that no one else before us thought it was possible

All shots used to have similar tracers. They probably removed it at some point while reworking graphics of the game in general

Keep playing and you will eventually get there! It's first T10 that is by far the hardest to get, it becomes much easier after that

As i've said in conclusion, it is probably the last time we have seen this tank on the battlefield. It was never suposed to come back and when WG allowed us to play a bunch of games with it, we were very often called cheaters and generally other players weren't too happy about seeing it back. I doubt WG will ever let anyone use it again in random battles

Because that's essentially the most effective way to play it. Missile system is very useful, but it requires very specific conditions. If you try to forcefully use the missiles in other scenarios it will just make you do worse. As we have said though, we will post more content including this tank where you will see many more situations where we make a better use of this mechanic.

I don't know it's exact range, but i had a similar feeling. It's missiles are surely faster than on sheridan, so if range isn't a fixed value, but rather amount of time a missile can spend flying it would have a longer range.

It was all explained in the video. These battles were played 2 days ago. We asked Wargaming for access to this vehicle and they let us play some battles with it
