Is such a lovely drive up over the mountains. We live in the lower mountains and I still enjoy the drive up the mountains whenever we go. Aren't the Jacarandas beautiful when they get their flowers and then drop the carpet of petals beneath. We have one in the backyard and I love it.... even when it drops its leaves in the pool! 💜
I agree totally. The lilac colours in the jacaranda carpet is beautiful and the deeper purples when the flowers first spread over the tree too. The mountains are always spectacular. I love going in the train to Katoomba for lunch and a walk every so often. The Shed is near Bathurst and quite cool in Winter. More quilting soon 🪡🧵💗
