Not quite so so sure though as to why the planners simply put in some grenades and bring the whole hill down then the excavators can start clearing and levelling up. I mean look at the curve, one needs to cut a big chunk on the hill to stay clear completely that way the road would last longer and no need to waste more money redoing up the road. Water will continue to find its way to ‘eat up’ the width of the road that it becomes impassible again until more money is spent. You can’t work against the water but can work with it You can work this way of course if you are going to put a big pipe fro the top of the mountain to channel the water through either under or over the road with a once yearly clearance - the road will need once a year maintenance then, then the Villagers will carry on with their lives as normal. I’m quite excited though the local government attracted this kind of an undertaking- well done
