The interior is very nice, but from the day it was built I thought it looked cheesy on the outside. Just my opinion....They also built a great golf course.
Maybe the reason the company failed is the money spent on this ridiculous looking headquarters. There should be a giant engraved brass plate on the building that simply reads NARCISIST HDQ. If your going to F*** it up, why not go big time.
Had nothing to do with the building. The founder and guy who ran the day to day operations retired due to health reasons then died. After that it was a series of horrible investments, leveraging against the business, the recession after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and bad management from the heirs. At the time this building was built,longaberger was making over a billion a year. If the founder never died, longaberger would still be thriving. So to conclude, you really you have NO FUCKING CLUE to what the fuck you're talking about. Literally not a fucking clue. Sad.
Tammy building a big money pit on creamery road in Zanesville was we’re all the money went. Grandiose ideas that were stupid. Sorry for the people that love their jobs there and love the company and had to MoveOn.
The following was a waste of money not well spent, the basket building, the high tech warehouse they had built, new horses for the weavers, and Tammy's house though that would have been her personal money. Lastly not realizing this was not going to last.
