You have explained in 10 minutes more useful information than some of the hour long videos..PLEASE keep this video coming. If you can go into details on the position of the needle I would be really interested to see the difference it makes up close. 😁. My thread breaks right to left even if I go slow short distances. 😬 it is driving me nuts. Thank you for this video and thank you John.
Loved the tip about pulling the bobbin thread after you change bobbins. I always do it from the top after I change and then if I have issues I have to take it out again and redo. This way would be faster.
Great information, I have had to call your shop several times and have gotten great service. I live in Vermont and as far as I know we still don’t have a dealer in New England.
We have wonderful service department and are so happy that you have had a great experience! We do not have a dealer in Vermont, but are looking for new recruits!
Could you do tips and tricks to keep your top very square all the way from the top to the bottom. How not to shift in one direction. I am a hand guide quilter. No computer.
Lori, what else can cause thread to jump out of intermittent tension disks? There are times when I have checked that the thread is properly seated in the intermittent tension disks, and then I start sewing. Then I notice something isn’t correct, I stop sewing and check to see if the thread is still seated. It isn’t! I don’t know what is happening.
Hello Rhonda, thanks for watching our videos! Make sure you are gong through the small whole or thread path prior to intermittent tension and around the disc then back through the thread path again. If you have an older machine, you may want to tie a small piece of batting on post where thread comes up off spool for thin threads. I hope this helps!
