I`m not into skateboarding or longboarding whatsoever, but I`m hooked at watching these fantastic down hill runs. I`ve subscribed to the channel and a few others. Thank you for taking the time to share your hobby with the rest of the world, it really is such a skill. Stay safe folks...
This is the most impressive longboard run i ever seen. Coz of this video i made electric skateboard. Since i don't have any hills, i am running electric motors. When i am going 42 km/h, i am terrified. And Patric is going downhill with no brakes like 72-80 km/h or more. Very impressive. Great Video, awesome skilled rider, and great camera/follow car.
That was awesome ride! I came from casual skateboard 20 y ago to long board few weeks ago , i wish i could atleast learn to simple slide break :/ Could you guys give me some advice ? My board Aloiki drop tru 83A 70mm wheels, centered ,180mm trucks - is possible for me to learn simple slide break on that board , i can carve quite good but i feel that wheels holding pavement very strong ??? Im goofy and im trying to kick my back feet froward but wheels holding very well :/ Im not trying go DH but i would feel more safe to learn it for emergency situations . tnx and one more time ,great video!
Tnx for an advice ,ive got better since then i can actually put board in to the toeslide but barley it is still not full slide just rear end giving up but its progress :) i have gloves and helmet on my way so will put more hours into it and will try to improve. Thx for advice!
Marius Grossglauser I just got few sets of wheels from fellow longboarder , and after switching to 86a Stimulus I could do slide on my first try - it was more of the test. After couple of hours trening i can do slow pendulum and very sloppy Coleman . I have some sliding gloves and bumpers on post waiting for me to pick up (I was using thick snowboard gloves just to get use to the technique ;) Anyways tnx for info and reply Cheers!
I've been watching tons of longboarding recently, Im hoping to get a freeride longboard for Christmas. I already street skate and bomb hills on a popsicle board, and I wanna get into freeride and a little dancing.
@@NakedAvanger Of course nothing compares to the real experience, but how about for rainy days when us longboarding addicts can't skate? I think it'd be an awesome fix, if done properly.
The road was not closed, but the traffic was monitored from another vehicle that was 2-3km in front and skated with stations. It was hard to get it done because we would always get interrupted by the traffic because the run is 8km long...
