When that dog came out and chased you, reminded me of yesterday when I was pumping around town and a rainbow colored Poodle charged after me 😆

How would the bushings life be after you pumping like that?
@RyukyuPumpers
@RyukyuPumpers 3 месяца назад
Bushings last for years with my usage. The only bushings I've had durability issues with were the 60a bushings.

How did you manage not to get wheel bite with super duper fork + valkyrie? Got Poppy + super duper fork and its already uncomfortably close.

Hello, By the time I shot this video, I was using a bushing that had been shortened to 0.5" to avoid bite. Now, I'm using a self-made bite blocker, which I think is a better solution. Please note that the Valkyrie MK3 slalom only has one bushing on the road side and no bushing on the board side. ru-vid.comsD67eD79EYg I had Poppy on SDF in one of my setups but didn't have a bite issue with the 85mm SpeedVent. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OY8gQRD_2A0.html Maybe you are using wheels that are too large or bushings that are too soft?

@@RyukyuPumpers Hi, thx a lot for your reply and advice. Bushings might be to soft for my weight, didnt like the resistance of the harder ones. All my bushings are brandnew, do they break in after some time?

@@krokodoc8506 Hello, I don't think there's a break-in period for bushings. I haven't noticed any change in the properties of bushings over time. Just for reference, I weigh 68kg and on RKP front truck, I usually use aps 70a BS and aps 70a or WFB 68a RS.🙂

@@RyukyuPumpers I am 30kg above and use 75a APS. I feel like 80a already restricts me in the pumping motion. If you are looking for a video Idea - a setup guide would be much appreciated by many 😃

@@krokodoc8506 What wheels are you using by the way?

I do longboard and am focusing on longer distances 10k min. I'm working on my pumping too and wondering how loose should be my trucks. Thanks

Hello, I think it is depends on your target speed range. Preppy much all my setups are aiming for lower speed range so that I can pump at low speed without pushing.🙂 I weigh 65kg and I'm using Riptide APS 70a on both TKP(Bhanger) and RKP(Poppy/Slalocybin) for front trucks. I'm using harder bushing(reflex 77a) on the truck in this video though that is because this truck does not have board side bushing. As for rear, mostly I use Krank 87a. For the rear, I use hardest bushing that does not introduce wheel lift. By the way, I believe truck angle is as important as bushing choice. My front trucks are set to 57* - 60* and rear trucks are set to 5* or below depends on the wheelbase. I hope this answers your question. 😊

Between your top mount and bracket setup, if u had to choose only one between them for pure pumping long distance which will u pick? Great video by the way n good that u share the setup specs.
