Sebas Sosa self taught,you don't see people with long board where I live,when i carry it around they're like "that's some long skate board" and I'll tell th is is no skateboard it's a long board,but I started out with skate board and then tried out long board and now I'm riding this,taught myself and got a big scar on my leg near my thigh from falling down hill

I know this is super late, but just commenting in case you still don’t get your board. I suggest you to get a cruiser board. It’s basically designed for people to just cruise around, and longboards are waaayyy expensive than cruiser boards. However, cruiser boards are small and you can’t do anything other than cruising around.
My roads are super patchy and gravelly. Plus I live at the top of a hill so steep I can't walk up without having to take a break. Our water pressure is pretty bad also.

Rule out Mindless Raider V: convex nose-to-tail shape; that is, the highest point is in the middle, virtually spring-loading the board into the ground when weighted. Usually, this shape won’t accommodate a side-to-side concave. Beginners should probably stay away from this design.
